When applying for the tax credit - is it the price before destination fee or after destination fee is included?

I am picking up a new Model Y soon with a trade-in. The car I am trading in is registered under my Dad (who lives in a different state). Are there options for my dad to sign the forms electronically? Or does he have to be in-person.

Just selecting my VIN (ordered in January - 7k lower than current price), now with this 7.5k off (beats picking up after 1/1/23 as we have to pay tax on that 7.5k then).

Looks like the EDD is not even close to being accurate. Based on the first EDD for me, I would have had my car atleast 15 days ago.

This is my third EDD … now it got changed to 10/13 - 10/27.

Got my second 2 week date rage of 10/1 - 10/15 (Blue with white interior, 19")...Of course, I will be going on vacation on 10/13....these things always come on vacation.

I also had 9/14-9/28 and it got switched to 9/30-10/28.

Hopefully we get pushed back to September from October.

I went from a 2 week window (9/16 - 9/28) to a 4 week window (9/30-10/28). :(

So looks like VIN comes 6 days before EDD.

We have a model 3 with FSD and it’s a feature that I feel may not be worth it. However, for the model y I ordered the price would be $10k for FSD so just trying to decide.

I am not sure regarding FSD. Is it possible to remove FSD after getting VIN assigned? I have a model Y order.

I have a delivery date of September 14 - September 28 but no VIN. Is this common - I would think the VIN would be assigned since its within a few weeks of delivery.

Both are currently estimated sometime between November - March. So I expect them to increase price of EAP to 7k+ by then.

My only hesitation is if they decide to raise the price to 7k+ by the time I get the car. Figured best way is if I can add the option now and delete before pickup if I decide to change my mind.

Ordered MYLR on 1/14/2022 - Florida - At that time was showing July delivery. Today it shows September 9 - October 10.
