What bank/credit union was this?I had interest rate lock for 90 days
Wow! I'm surprised any financial institution is willing to do that, especially with the Fed hiking rates at every meeting.I had interest rate lock for 90 days
Ugh. Hopefully you'll get a surprise change like some have here. Not sure what the algorithm does behind the scenes to move these dates around; I don't imagine it's managed by a human given how they jump.My EDD just moved to 10/6 - 10/20. Unfortunately Tesla doesn't typically deliver in the first month of the quarter, so I guess it'll be November or December.
I kept an eye on that here during July and it was really only the first week to week and a half that no VINs were reported. Lots of VINs flowing by end of second week.My EDD just moved to 10/6 - 10/20. Unfortunately Tesla doesn't typically deliver in the first month of the quarter, so I guess it'll be November or December.
That’s true. But they are working on trying to catch up on the backlog, since they’re ramping heavier on Austin. My EDD just moved to 10/6 - 10/20. Unfortunately Tesla doesn't typically deliver in the first month of the quarter, so I guess it'll be November or December.
Got a call from local tesla rep to confirm appointment for this friday and went over registration, insurance, financing etc. Car is already here. Hopefully they won’t find any major issues between now and Friday
I just talked to my SA. I guess the no deliveries in the 1st month of the quarter only applies to Models S, X, and 3 as Fremont sends them out to Europe in the 1st month. Since Model Ys are built everywhere, deliveries can happen any month. That’s true. But they are working on trying to catch up on the backlog, since they’re ramping heavier on Austin.
If you wait and have a problem with the ACH, what are you going to do? That’s why I took a bank check with me and gave to them.My delivery is tomorrow. Do I need to do my down payment via ACH now Or can I do it tomorrow after looking at the car. Pls let me know
Thanks!
I've paid for my three Teslas to date with a personal check, not even a bank check. They accepted it.If you wait and have a problem with the ACH, what are you going to do? That’s why I took a bank check with me and gave to them.
would they take cashier’s check?I've paid for my three Teslas to date with a personal check, not even a bank check. They accepted it.
I suspect so, if they would take a personal check. You can double check with them, though.would they take cashier’s check?
I had my pickup yesterday. I did ACH plaid payment through the app before I left home. No problems. My delivery is tomorrow. Do I need to do my down payment via ACH now Or can I do it tomorrow after looking at the car. Pls let me know
Thanks!
I also had 9/14-9/28 and it got switched to 9/30-10/28.EDD was 9/13-9/26 and on 9/14 it shifted to 10/6-11/3
Same here, got bumped to October. I'm guessing it's the 19" wheels. It seems like late August/early Sept was the time for tow packages, and now is the time for 20" wheels. Hopefully they make some 19" MYLRs next month so we don't get bumped again.I also had 9/14-9/28 and it got switched to 9/30-10/28.
