Supercharger - Daly City, CA - Mission St (LIVE 10 Aug 2023, 15 V3 stalls)

Yeah I think the larger 32 stall station is still a ways down the road....this one behind Jolibee is all done and prob just needs to get approval to be energized. Even has a space that can fit my future Cybertruck 😎

Supercharger - Daly City, CA - Mission St (LIVE 10 Aug 2023, 15 V3 stalls)

I think given the timeline, i believe this is still in the works on planning, but on Tesla find us site. The new Daly city supercharger might actually be the one that's behind Jolibee that's opening soon. It's already built out and Bryant had not even begun yet!...will drive by TMR to check the...

New "wraparound" dash door panels for the US Model Y's - retrofit to existing cars?

I would imagine it's a straight bolt on to older model y. At least for the 2021 model years. I don't see them redesigning a whole new door skeleton just to fit this new panel, makes sense to use the old doors and have them attach to existing mounting holes since the panel looks purely cosmetic...

Range Issue: Model Y Performance 2022

On the way back from La to Sf did a nice 270 wh/mi stint until traffic hit...tires were at 55 psi but it was 104 F. But I say just drive and enjoy. Tesla's in LA is a must because it was 100F everyday over the weekend and pre-setting climate before getting back in was a live saver. Car reached...

Range Issue: Model Y Performance 2022

Oops yes MYP...late 2021 build. On road trips I tend to bump it up since the roads are smoother than in the city and looks seems to help with mileage. I get about 240-250 range normally within the city...but ofc we have crazy hills here.

Range Issue: Model Y Performance 2022

I dunno about you guys but I just drove from SF to LA...left with 96%...avg 80 mph and 265 wh/mi on 51 psi. A/c set to 70 degrees on fan speed 2... Got to kettleman with about 25 miles left. System indicated 12% at arrival got there about 9-10%...seems but be about what I normally get but that's...

How to get a cord into Model Y?

I like the idea of adjusting the tail gate bump stops. I would also wrap where the cable gets pinched with a little foam and tape...it would help protect it over the long term.

    Enhanced Autopilot $6k

By the time Tesla gets to level 3 ...waymo and others would be level 4, which I could see happening end of next year. Waymo and cruise is already in my city without safety drivers driving around my hood. I think in Q1 2023 regular folks should be able to hail a driverless car in SF.

Why Elon’s Goal to Improve Tesla Service Seems Ambitious (TMC Podcast Clip)

I'm over two months "waiting" for parts on a brand new MYP. Everything about Tesla service sucks. Weird run around to get a hold of someone. Chat feature takes weeks to respond sometimes. No real eta on when or if ever parts do arrive. No loaners. Only thing easy is to make an appointment but...

    Portable refrigerators for Model Y

I'm thinking getting this cooler warmer from Makita. Kinda pricey but completely cordless for picnics or bbqs https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/DCW180Z

I have access to a heat gun...but a hair dryer will work too...works great!

    Tuxmat Happiness

On my new MYP my tuxmat does the same thing too...my remedy was to put two very large Velcro patches from amazin to the inside of the liner. You just heat up the sticky side of Velcro for extra adhesion to the liner...works great! These are the best mats period!

Need part number for broken under body trim piece...think I hit a speed bump too fast 🥲

Hello all! Went to look on Tesla parts catalog but couldn't really find this piece...hoping it's has its own part number and not part of the whole bumper clip. TIA! For a Model Y Performance

Why does Tesla suspension suck so bad?

I would say the m spec BMW cars are definitely tuned to drive better vs the normal 3 series. My last bmw a 08 v8 m3 which I just sold to help finance my new MYP. Again it comes to compliance teslas do not take road imperfections and just feels unsettled under most road conditions that's not...

Why does Tesla suspension suck so bad?

Coming from non air suspension bmws, I do think the overall ride quality is really lacking regarding compliance. Just because my MYP is stiff doesn't mean it handles well, quite the opposite. I'm actually scared go around a corner with too much speed because there might be a road imperfection...

    Model Y Subwoofer Bass Mod

One thing that the OP didn't check that actually affects the bass or even volume is the EQ inside the Spotify app itself. If that is adjusted at all your definitely lose some volume/bass. Otherwise good job with the mod. Might do something like this soon but with a sealed single 12" in the lower...

    Supercharger - San Francisco, CA - Geary Blvd. (LIVE 20 May 2021, 16 V3 + 18 Urban stalls)

They are pretty full right before the cutoff at 11 am most mornings. I'm curious what is the consensus about the destination chargers here...I know it's first come first serve but is it generally acceptable to charge over night or for longer periods?

Supercharger - Daly City, CA - Bryant St. (planning approved Jan 2022, 32 V3 stalls)

Visited this site yesterday...still dead grass and weeds...no movement on this build out yet. Still says Q2 2022 planned opening, but prob looks like Q3 now unless they can put it up in two months.

Model Y - Gigafactory Texas Production

Yeah maybe I'm wrong but weird that Tesla would start a brand new line with old door panels....wouldn't it have been easier to train ppl with the new panel vs training on old then switching it out to the new. Or they prob just install the same exact way just all cosmetic.

Model Y - Gigafactory Texas Production

Looks like new builds from Austin and Berlin will have the new door panels like the model 3. Wish us CA orders could get Austin built Ys
