    Rats Chewed Wires

Has anyone found a good way to deter rodents from nesting and chewing up the wires? Considering a spray repellant, but I'm not sure where to apply in inside my Tesla.

    battery drain airport parking

Agree that 50% is best for long-term storage. For a couple weeks, 70% is OK. Not so good to leave it at 100%

    battery drain airport parking

One more consideration... Don't leave it a a high state of charge, especially in hot weather. This will promote battery degradation. Better to leave it at 50-60%.

Watchla app no longer accepts authentication using tokens

Updated Watchla app to 3.5.1 last week. I like this app because it lets me use my Apple Watch as a bluetooth Tesla key to unlock and drive the car, even when my phone is not with me. Before the update I was able to sign in to Watchla using tokens rather than using my Tesla username and password...

    2023 Holiday Update Imminent

This is a copy of my post today in the discussion of "high fidelity park assist" in the MS forum: Limited testing in my 2023 MY yesterday. No question it's better than the previous version of park assist. That not saying much because the previous version was useless. With the new version, on...

    High Fidelity Park Assist

Limited testing in my 2023 MY yesterday. No question it's better than the previous version of park assist. That not saying much because the previous version was useless. With the new version, on repeat trials in dry daytime conditions I was consistently getting a stop signal or red shading at...

    1up USA Bike Rack

Agree with @James1967. My 1Up USA super duty double rack fits my 2023 MY. Want to add that some issues that make the experience less than ideal. 1. The double rack blocks the backup camera. Wish Tesla sold an accessary rear camera that could be attached to the rack and integrated with the Tesla...

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Yes. I am a CT resident and I took delivery of my M3 in Mt Kisko and my MY in Paramus. My experience at Kisko was far better than Paramus. Worst part was that Paramus did not process my CT registration properly, so I had weeks with an expired registration before receiving my CT plates.

I live in Connecticut, a state that does not allow Tesla to sell cars, so they sent me to NY state to pick up my car. The NY Tesla sales center processed the Connecticut registration and collected the Connecticut sales tax.

Smelly stinky socks / mold in Model 3 AC

I don't recall where I read that the car is programmed to run the fan for a short time when parked after AC use. I generally do not precondition or turn on climate before getting in. Do not use cabin overheat protection Never tested my sense of smell, but I've noticed other cars that smell...

I have a 1Up USA bike rack with LED lighting. The lights work when attached to my 2023 MY. One strange feature. When I park the car, the LED lights blink about every 10 seconds for a little while after I lock the MY. This blinking eventually stops.

2023 Model 3 without USS and proximity functionality [park assist / summon not available]

I have a 2022 M3 with USS and a 2023 MY without, and neither car can accurately measure distance to a curb in front of the car. Both cars have great backup cameras for seeing curbs and other obstacles in the rear. Can’t say how well the Mach-E or Ionic 5 will perform this task, but USS is not...
