Hypothetically, let's say the Victorian RUC is struck down. What do you think happens to the RUC payments already collected by the State? Would the State need to refund EV owners I wonder? I imagine this question would be answered in the ruling if the ruling goes against the State.

So far it’s still working. The cellphone can wake up the car again. A little more testing before I can be sure, but quietly optimistic.

I may have fixed this issue (fingers crossed). I went into the service menu and reloaded the software. It was still 2023.12.9, so no change to version, but now the cellphone “sees” the car again.

Same here. Upgraded this morning to 2023.12.9 from 2023.12.5 and have lost remote access to the car. Tried rebooting the car twice but no joy, still no connection from the cellphone app to the car.

Comparing before and after window tinting, from your experience, would you say it made a big difference to the cabin temperature when the car was parked? My M3 can be like an oven on hot days, and that's even with COP kicking in at 40ºC. What level of tinting did you have installed?

I'm advised by Tesla the COP with variable activation temperature feature should be available on my M3, however, there is a firmware bug preventing it from working (i.e. to be able to change the activation temperature). A fix for the COP bug should be available in a future firmware update...

Both. It was working before I received the vehicle, both pre-VIN allocation and post-VIN allocation, and is still working today and I've had my M3 since the start of September. If Tesla have changed the backend, then I guess that's no surprise, they can be a moving target at times.
