Impressive that you managed to get the 2.99% extended this long! Here's hoping you get an invoice before then.

Plenti were able to extend my preapproval after 90 days, however I had to lock it in at the newer rate (at the time it went from 2.99% to 3.99%). After 180 days I had to redo the entire application. They were able to approve the second application in a couple hours (now 5.99%).

So for those Feb/Mar orders (and even late Jan potentially) are we expecting a large fleet of cars being loaded up on 28/9 (Morning Cherry) for delivery Mid October?

I booked a 5 week holiday for late September so that I don’t have to stress waiting for my car that’s not coming (not really but the timing worked out well). Hopefully when I get back I won’t have to wait much longer..

Yeah hence my guesstimate for when we would hear of new VIN allocations around 19/8 (Friday). In the last run of VIN allocations on 15/7 and 16/7 (circa page 500 of this thread) the vessels were set to depart between 14/7 and 19/7. If Tesla allocates model 3's on any of those ships I'd hope that...

Our vehicles were built on the last day prior to the shut down. It wouldn’t be ridiculous to think that they’d restart from where they left off (second part of q1 fulfilment) I would have thought. Then again if we don’t see any VINs rolling through by mid August we have to prepare for hibernation

I’d say if we’re lucky then we’d see VINs mid to late August for a late September delivery otherwise next quarter October for a November delivery

Fbt returns aren’t prepared/assessed until after 31/3 of the following year so you’re good. If your lease provider takes out post tax income for contributions that don’t exist due to these rules it will just be paid back to you.

I think you're right. I think the function I mentioned also unlocks the charging cable utilising the same push to unlock gesture, maybe that's the difference? Otherwise I'm not sure why it gets highlighted in review videos.

If you get the Commander with your S3XYButtons there's a built in function where if you press the rear left door handle in for 4 seconds it opens up the charging flap. Then you can use the buttons for a more worthwhile function.

I mean the earlier they can finish the upgrades the quicker they can fill backlogs (at 7700 cars/week), I'd say it's in their best interests to restart ASAP to relieve this pressure that's been sitting on their backs for months. Also it always looks good to complete a project ahead of schedule...
