Exact same spec, ordered on the same day but with Belfast delivery. Still sitting at Sept/October after changing from June last week. Looks like no cars are making it to Ireland this quarter. Would love to hear otherwise from anyone else.

FYI you don’t need to mess with view source or potentially dodgy chrome extensions to see if you have a VIN. Just open this page in a browser you’re already logged in to tesla.com: https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/oxp-bff-api/user-orders This also works on mobile.

I read somewhere previously that the best insurance quotes are given when you select a start date of 21 days time - so 3 weeks lead time would be very nice.

Select “cash” as payment option. When you get a VIN assigned you can ask to switch to finance and they will do it for you, so you won’t be applying for finance until you actually need it. This is what Tesla would recommend you do in this situation, and is very common advice when ordering...
