I picked my Model Y LR from Manchester on Friday afternoon. Been driving everywhere in it all weekend and taking people for a drive. First impressions have been great from myself and everyone that’s been it. Just got to get up to speed on the infotainment systems but nearly there.

How come they don’t register the car until day of pick up? I’m having a shocker organising insurance on my Model Y, pick up tomorrow, as it doesn’t appear on any database yet. I’ve not had a car for just over a year so can’t speak to my insurers, but the quotes I’m getting are going up daily...

Yes I did, ordered 11th March. MYLR Black, black 20’s. May EDD 🤷‍♂️

Ordered MYLR black, black 20’s through ALD Business Lease on March 11th. Stuck with a May EDD for 3 weeks. It’s got to change soon. 🤷‍♂️ We’ll done to those receiving VIN’s.

Just spoke to Tesla. No help really just said I might get a VIN in the next week!!

Yes it does allow you to change your upfront portion once you have started the process. I changed mine from 6 months to 3 months. There was so a 1 month option. Ordered a MY in mid March through ALD Automotive (Tesla Lease).

My EDD has been stuck on ‘May’ for the last week. Haven’t a clue what’s going on.

Mines gone from June to August 06 - September 15 ffs.

I’ve just had a text also saying June delivery.

Mine too, although she wanted triple black on the model Y. I think she’s more excited than I am about the car. She asks each day “when’s it coming?”. I haven’t the heart to tell her it’s been put back till June at least!!

Mine has changed overnight from May 9th - June 6th to June 9th - June 30th. Hope not my daughter will be gutted but if I start an order on the website it still says May delivery. Also went for a test drive at the weekend and they said mid May for delivery. So who knows. Let’s hope they can...
