Added the info about the battery health test failing to tomorrow's service appointment and got this response :rolleyes:

After the test completes it should show a result such as Battery Health: 85%. For my car it shows Battery Health: --%.

Yes, plugged into a Tesla wall charger with a 50 amp breaker so it's at the max kw possible.

Started the battery health test last night at 16% SOC, this morning I see the test completed but I got no result. Battery Health --%. Will reattempt soon.

I do think the colder temps played a roll, that has been a common denominator in both cases where the car died. My current solution is to charge longer at superchargers when trying to make it home after a long drive and assume 10 miles left is effectively 0 miles left.

On the most recent time it died with 7 miles left the battery showed 2% left. So if the 1% margin of error you stated is true, I'm still within that.
