Swung by just now. Looks really close to opening. There was an AES Ohio van and person there but they were in their car so I didn’t chat.

Drove past the SC on Friday and there didnt seem to be fences up around it anymore. maybe i just missed them as i didnt go into the parking lot, but they looked pretty complete and ready to go. the lot near therm was either repaved or sealed and repainted too.

Model S Successfully picked up, no major issues noticed in the walk around and the 30 min drive back home went well. only slight complaint is it came with Summer tires, which as I live in an area that gets snow is less than ideal.

Well it looks like I probably wont get a VIN before the 1 year mark. although they technically have until 8 pm PST tomorrow to surprise me.

Mine also just changed from 8/24-9/14 to 8/20-9/10 as well. probably matches yours as we have the same build (you have FSD I dont)

One can only hope, as my friends (some of whom also own Teslas) have said, the EDD is made up and nothing matters until you have a VIN.

My reservation window keeps on narrowing, now Aug 24-Sept 14 (was Aug 15-Sept 19) so a nice narrowing. here is hoping it doesnt jump again.

Yeahhhhhhhhhh your (and others) comments in here is what makes me nervous about it. Like I get asking if people still want the car, but I think Tesla should have made it a process with one more step. to me it should have been 1. Send email/call saying you will be put on hold if you dont respond...

Got the email notification today about the reservation being put on temporary hold for me to indicate if I still want the car. Hopefully it wont mysteriously get put on hold again.

Well got an updated EDD, now 8/15 - 9/19 for a RN1154 (Blue/Black combo). which I guess is good because it has a slight narrowing of the delivery window, but not by much. Also going by my personal tracker, I might get it by Christmas...

My EDD hasnt changed yet (still showing 7/26-9/6) which seems very weird considering we are within 2 weeks of the opening of the window. I just really want the car and some certainty on the delivery date.

I think it is really weird that I still have a 42 day long delivery window, even though I am now in the same month as it could technically be delivered. Still very much expecting the window to get moved and narrowed, but still odd to me.
