This is Tesla remember. The same company who shipped the cars knowing that they don't have a charge port and then made the customers wait 30+ days to send the parts to the SCs. They have a parking lot within a mile of Tysons to store these cars and the SC wants to do this at their own pace.

They haven’t.

They have the charge port parts now, confirmed with them yesterday. But still, they're delaying the delivery appointments for these ~200 Customers because of reasons only known to them.

Did you check with Tysons SC about the delivery of your vehicle?

The SAs at Tysons are just playing dirty mind games with the customers. I’ve talked to multiple Tesla IT engineers and they told me that if we request the SA to unmatch the vin, based on our order date we should get a VIN assigned to us ASAP. But the SAs are telling us that it may take 5 or 6...

I asked my SA to change the VIN last Friday and just got a new VIN in the Tesla app today. Hopefully you guys receive your deliveries soon.

I just talked to a friend who works on EVs he thinks that if the cars are sitting in the parking lot in the heat without using them, the battery life will go bad and he is suggesting that I should request a change of VIN. I also feel that these customers are forgotten and they don't really care...

Which Service or Area are you in?

Trust me I made 15 calls to Tesla but they will never escalate this to management because the management also knows that their process is messed up. So they just want to keep quiet and let the customers suffer a little because everybody knows that EVs are needed to offset the current gas prices.
