I normally just leave my battery to charge between the standard IO hours of 23:30-05:30. Then let IO schedule the car in for when ever it wants. Most of the time it will start its charge at around 23:00. I then end up charging the car / battery and turning the washing on etc... all at the same...

In that case you could if within 30 days of delivery probably reject on the basis that the car delivered to you is not the specification that you ordered. 🤷‍♂️

I have now sent them 2 emails. First one I got an automated response saying it will take between 5-10 days to respond and the other one I had to automated response at all. 🤷‍♂️ Going to chase today with another email and a call if I have the time.

It’s really odd, I left the car while we had a Wagamama, then once I was home it was working perfectly 🤷‍♂️ god knows maybe the car went to sleep and reset something ….

Odd one just now, the drivers window one touch seems to be having a issue. Touch it for the window to go up, goes up a little then bounces back down over and over. Only way to get the window to go all the way up is to hold the switch! Guess I will add that to the service list 🤦‍♂️

🤷‍♂️ my rental is the base "Design" model, only the GS model and above get sensors etc ... I would wager the above new law would not apply to "new cars" but actually to "newly homologated" cars.

I have a 72-plate rental Vauxhall Crossland X at the moment - It doesn't have sensors or camera? 🤷‍♂️ So not all new cars have them ... just saying - Although I take the point and that the price point of both these cars are vastly different

Tesla insurance seems so much higher! My previous car a 22-plate Mercedes E53 AMG Estate was £347 for 12 months, on the MYP (collection next week) cheapest I could get was £779!! Bonkers

Looking again you are right yes, there are two non demos that are £1k cheaper than I am paying! Meh I’m all paid up now and everything arranged! Still good deal for anyone looks for an MYP!
