I think it also has to do with the size of the Adelaide warehouse and minimal staff. They allocate 30 mins her vehicle so that isn't heaps in a day

I went 2,150km over the initial amount and they dropped my offer by $3,000. It's a 2020 Forester, 31,650kms

Yeah I have my car as a trade in (I might remove it depending on what it gets revalued at - it's 2k more than what I estimated) but I don't have my final invoice yet. I chased them up today and then got an email asking me to resubmit my current odometer reading. So now just waiting.

I wish that ment cars were being dropped in Adelaide but unfortunately they get dropped in Vic for some reason. No idea why they wouldn't drop them at Port Adelaide, all the other manufacturers do lol We've had dead silence on 3s for 5 months

Do we know if people from multiple states are expecting cars on this boat? What are is your delivery window of you are?

I'd really hope Adelaide would be on the earlier side of this new timeframe. We haven't had a good 3 delivery in 5 months and people with the same spec as me and orders 2 monthe after me have their car already in different states. I'm still holding out hope for a pre Christmas delivery

Yep! For some reason they do not drop tesla's in Adelaide, all other manufacturers do.They drop them in Melbourne and truck them across to us.

When I initially ordered my plate fee was $39 which is SA's standard plate fee. We didn't have the option of slimline plates back then but since then a delivery centre has opened up and if you place an order now the fee is $228, which I assume is the slim plate. I'm hoping this means I do not...

Nah I don't have one for Brissy, you guys have a port so wil get them quicker off the boat. Adelaide orders are dropped in Melb and trucked into SA so im guessing they'll need the secondary transport booked first for us

Im with this bank/credit union, I had a loan on standby and they changed it to this one when they started in last month, which is slightly cheaper. Total fees are $250 so it's great. In SA this credit union has always had the best deals for car loans.

Ours should be on the Melbourne ship too :) I clarified last week on Adelaide orders. They'll be coming into Melbourne and he mentioned Oct 22nd for next shipment. Not sure I'd that was leaving or arriving or Ys........

I just had a chat with my SA and he said vehicle matching is currently underway so VINS are near. Take that as you will. He also said information for them is scarce which we already know.

Hey! What sort of cables and adapters have people purchased? For charging on the road (not including the UMC). Any links to must have/store in the car?

Think historically larger VIN allocations have happened on Fri, Sat and Sun mornings which sort of lines up with these two ships. Fingers and toes crossed for a big RWD VIN dump this weekend🤞🤞🤞

I also think you get a reduction in GST because it comes off the purchase price so (i think) it works out to be a bit better than face value

Hi all, What were the letters to look up to see if you have had a VIN allocated? I remember reading them about 100 pages ago but can't find them now. Also, anyone in Adelaide have a EDD? Model: RWD Colour: white external, black internal Order date: 28/02 EDD: blank
