    Door handle fix. Replacement?

Tesla did replace the door handle mechanical parts and left the wrapped handle in place. It was done via a mobile repair and they did not give me any crap about the wrap.

    Door handle fix. Replacement?

I will schedule it and see what happens. Thx for the response.

    Door handle fix. Replacement?

I just had the same problem today with my 2020 Model S driver's door exterior handle. It half presents itself part of the time and snaps back to flush the other half of the time. If I push the handle when it is flush, the door will open. I have the black wrap over the handle. I have 33k...

Long Range Plus Battery Range Calculation

I have a 2020 Model S LR+ with 33k miles on it and want to get an idea on the health of the battery. I ran a calculation using the remaining miles/pct of battery to make the calculation. Is this a reasonable way of determining the battery health? After a charge, it is showing 303 miles and...

    Battery health test

How much more accurate is running this test over doing the miles/.pct calculation?

    No Yoke

I did not want a yoke and that was a driver of me getting a used model (2020). The yoke seems to solve a non-existent problem. I wish I had the improved 2022 interior with better cup holders and less weight though. My 2020 plows through corners like a boat. When I borrowed a model 3...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

FYI, Telsa fixed the left rear sensor and performed a recalibration. I do not have the screen shot but the car sits level now and the suspension readings are close to even for front and rear. Maybe only a 10mm variance at most now.

    Model S Air Suspension Question

I guess that is possible but I am thinking this was just an assembly error. It is odd that the odd the car leans backward instead of sideways. They ordered the replacement part and they are also replacing some loose trim on the trunk at the same time.

Also, how do you like those Michelins over the Goodyear Eagles?

    Model S Air Suspension Question

I am just going to let them fix it. The car is drivable in the mean time. I kept wondering why visibility out the rear of the car from the rear view mirror was so bad. I thought it was just bad design. I think it has more to do with the rear end sag limiting visibility.

    Model S Air Suspension Question

Well, the car was bought used end of May 2022 and had 26000 miles on it. Carfax says no accidents. I am thinking fixing it myself is a bit risky if I cannot recalibrate the car myself. Also since it is an assembly mistake, I am better off leaving it for Tesla to fix that way they will do the...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

I was going to ask the warranty question myself. I just went under the car and found an assembly error. Look at how the ride height sensor is attached on the driver rear side vs passenger rear side. This sensor is held in place by a single bolt and aligned by a tab for fast assembly. On the...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

Posting better pics from around the car to show how it sits with suspension on high setting. Back sags a bit, which may or may not be normal but there is no left/right lean.

    Model S Air Suspension Question

I guess I am questioning whether that is real or not. Agreed that this would seem problematic if there was truely that much difference in the rear. Notice how the front is flat. Now can the back be 2" off left to right and this not be reflected up front either on the suspension reading or...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

Car is drivable from my point of view. I did try changing drive height and all 4 corners do adjust accordingly with the right read being 2" less than left rear at all settings. I am going to look under the car this weekend to see if there is anything obviously wrong.

    Plaid suspension height not even

You have a delta of about 12mm. I have over a 55mm delta on the back left vs back right. I bought my Model S used so I am not sure if it was always this way but I am taking it to Tesla to get recalibrated at a min. My car does not have any right/left lean but the rear looks to be much lower...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

I tried changing the wheel size from 19" to 21", let the system recycle and set it back. Screen reading of suspension is still messed up. I did the max and min adjustment of the suspension and the car raises and lowers in front and rear and I still have the messed up readings. I have an...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

Thank you for the reply. I was no aware of any of those things as an option but I will research them. I should make clear from the tire photos that the car at rest does not lean left or right as you would think from the suspension readings. The front of the cars seems about 1" higher than the...

    Model S Air Suspension Question

I am new to Tesla and have a used 2020 Model S and have been looking at the suspension screen. I noticed that it seems to indicate that the left rear is reading 2 inches higher than the right rear. See photos. The car seems to drive and park flat. When parked, the front seems higher than the...
