Try and changing the distance from car ahead to a bit further specially on freeway, you can do that with clicking right steering wheel button side ways.
I usually change to 4-5 car lengths once I go onto motorways, autopilot is less aggressive that way . I recently did Sydney trip from Brisbane...
One of my friend who traded his vehicle yesterday told me they are not even checking the vehicles, it goes straight to whosalers, it's like a gamble on their end they make lot of money on some cars and loose some on some cars. So just basically try and use scratch repair wax and see if you can...
To be honest Tesla factory covers are exactly that , they are easy to take off and hard to fall. They are flexible so even incase if you apply force they just flex and come out. But Ali express one is hard plastic so excess force will break them
Thanks but clips go into the gap of the alloy so if they expand they might be harder to remove right? And I just don't want this constant work incase of a puncture or tyre rotation.
I am not getting much response from seller , so I opened a dispute with AliExpress, let's see how it goes
I...
No I cannot remove them , I just pulled as harder as I can but they are stuck , and I cracked one of the wheel , I made query with seller but not much response , so opened a dispute so I can return them . But even to return I am not sure how to take them off
I will check this afternoon and confirm, but from what I see they are really well made , on par with quality as Tesla one's . I felt like Tesla one's are a bit brittle than Aroham one I got from AliExpress
After owning Tesla for 2 nights, my take so far
I really love how the cabin lighting setup. I read lot of posts that lighting is not enough was a bit concerned. But I honestly think this setup is great
I thought Speedo meter on screen and single pedel driving require lot of getting used to but...
Just picked up my car from Brisbane , it's super easy process. There were quite a few cars available for pickup today . Mostly white few blue and couple of Red one's
i think you will get appointment schedule first and they will register the car couple of days . For me i got message last Sunday and they registered car on 31st for 3rd pickup , i only paid in full on 31st Morning
My car now shows up in QLD registration check :) collection date is on Saturday 3rd . So people who collected before from Hendra do they provide EV stickers and plate covers ?
You will get text message with URL from Tesla number that you got other messages , so may be change alert tone to that number to fire alarm time :p, app won't show anything until you confirm booking time
My EDD now disappeared , previously it was 26 aug-9sep. And it says this on my account page
As your delivery date approaches, we’ll contact you to confirm your registration, payment method and, if applicable, trade-in details.
So with ceramic coating there won't be much dust deposited on the car or it's just easy to clean? My car usually parked in carport and current Mazda with same colour only stays clean for about a week after good wash
I am planning to do the same , I think 26/27 KMs per hour is more than enough for me . I think seperate circuit is better idea so it won't overload rest of the circuits
Thanks , hopefully mine would be ok
Got electrician to quote for 32amp charger but he reckon that I need to update my mains cable since it's only 48amp(6mm cable) and he reckon it would cost me over 1800 altogether for upgrade and run seperate circuit for 32amp. I don't drive much so 32amp is a bit of overkill for me
So I have...
I agree ceramic coating makes car easy to clean , but how long. Usually they only last for a year or two depending on the use of the car. If car is mostly garaged they stay clean anyway unless it rains . Most of Australian city cars never gets exposed harsh conditions if it snows or gets driven...
they recently changed that , only QLD and NSW cars are offloaded in PK and all other states cars are offloaded in Melbourne, Asian vision is heading to Melbourne from PK
if it happens to just car paint you can ask car Manufacturer to fix it since PPF car Manufacturer would surely wont cover and most probably the company who did PPF wont be there specially if its a dodgy one
i think it all comes to personal preference , some people have keen eye and kind of OCD when it comes to cars , similar to people who are obsessed about lawns . If you are that kind of person then go for it . But for me personally its just extra $$ for no real benefit . Most people who write...
Asian Vision and Paglia both showing up on Arrivals now . Both berthing at 107

Exactly, in my opinion PPF is super expensive for what it does on a normal production car. It only make sense for classic cars where paint technology was not as good so to preserve original colour or for limited edition sports cars that are status symbols.
You can pretty much get car repainted...
Just a honest question, have you done ceramic coating and PPF on your CX5?
And what is reasonable to someone could be super expensive, from what I see people here think 2k for PPF alone Is reasonable but I see as unnecessary expense specially if car is never parked outside and washed regularly
As far as I know they were not. They will be docked in Brisbane for other cargo , but they don't offload Tesla's. Also various Facebook posts suggested cars are trucked from Sydney
but it will be heading to Port Kembla by 20th , Usually tesla are not offloaded in brisbane , they are off loaded in Port Kembla and trucked back to brisbane
From last experience deliveries started on 4days after ship arrival so hoping sept 1st would deliveries in Sydney and in couple of days in Brisbane
I strongly believe all Y that are built end of July 1st week of August are on Asian vision as it started from Nenang terminal where all Tesla are...
from my limited shipping expertise , i am guessing(based on distance travelled vs distance left) it would arrive by 24th into NSW wasters , but hopefully not much holdup entering into Port Kemble for early drop off
Anyone with 31/07 build date and Aug 15-25 have any success with RAV? Look like EDD is moving to 25th for some people meaning all our cars are in Asian Vision
