iPod Touch no longer connecting via Bluetooth

I reached out again to Tesla. The simplest route I found was to create a service appointment under Software>Other-Software & Autopilot. The technician took logs and submitted a report to Tesla. I was also told the only other way to report the issue was to call Tesla Customer Support at...

iPod Touch no longer connecting via Bluetooth

The Tesla technician specifically checked the Bluetooth version of my iPod (4.1) and said it was compatible. My memory is fuzzy, but I think he said the Model 3 was compatible with Bluetooth 2.1 and later. The conclusion was that it wasn't a compatibility issue, but more of a software glitch...

iPod Touch no longer connecting via Bluetooth

I'm experiencing the same issue (iPod Touch gen 7 A2178 and OS 15.8) with my 2022 Tesla Model 3. The device also disappeared after the 2023.38.6 update was installed. Tesla service tried soft-restarting the car, resetting the car bluetooth settings and database, restarting the iPod, and a...

    Cars gone from Tesla app???

Thankfully the Tesla app on another device just started working again so I was able to grab the spare card from the car. I had uninstalled the Tesla app on my phone trying to troubleshoot this, and it still won't let me sign back in. Don't uninstall the app right now if you only have the app on...

I'm experiencing the same issue. Tesla service says they are aware of the issue, and they can't even unlock my car for me. Hope they get it fixed soon so I'm not stuck at work!

    Phone as key working intermittently

I've also been experience the same phone key issues. I had my Model 3 in at Tesla for a tire rotation a couple days ago and I mentioned the issue to the service advisor. The invoice had a message on it saying that the phone key issue is a known characteristic of firmware 2022.40, and that...

    Key fob Passive Entry Delay

UPDATE: Tesla tried a different key fob, with no change to the delay issue. The technician said there isn't really much more he can do at this point, other then open a session internally for visibility. Apparently as my phone doesn't have the same delay issues and it shares the same unlock...

    Key fob Passive Entry Delay

Thanks. I wondered if it was related to the car sleeping. But the Tesla support page says the passive entry key fob is supposed to automatically unlock the car within 3 feet. No delay is specified, and I doubt the delay is a design feature.

    Key fob Passive Entry Delay

I'm having issues with the Model 3 key fob passive entry feature. When I walk up to my car with the key fob, I experience delays ranging from 2-15 seconds while pressing the door door handle, before the door opens. I also experience this issue when pressing the button on the charging cable. If...
