    I stopped by the site this morning. Construction on the WAWA building has started, but no evidence that the Supercharger has begun. I think that the orange cone was a bit premature.

    I visited the site Saturday (Oct. 10) and the charging cords are still tied off with yellow tape. The meter is in place and the transformer has power--there is a distinct 60 Hz hum.

    I am at the site now. There are three electricians working--one from tesla and two contractors. The power is on and all stations have been tested on a P85+. According to the man from Tesla, it should be open for use tonight.

    I am at the site now. The 500 kva transformer has been set and connected and the meter set. There is a 60Hz hum coming from the cabinet. According to a worker from Dennys, this was done today. The stalls are still taped off.

    There is no transformer on site. An empty transformer pa d is located a few feet from the wooden enclosure. The nearest power pole is some distance away and I could see no evidence of any installatio. of a new underground powerline. I am not aware of what power company serves this area, but...

    I visited the site on Saturday, and I did not feel the least bit unsafe. There were many people around and many open stores. We made the round trip from Glen Allen. Traffic was very heavy on I-64 and we made some detours to avoid stopped traffic, and needed additional charge to make it back...

    This is good news. We will be going to several Norfolk State University football games this fall. The round trip from Glen Allen can be dicey in cold weather. Last fall I made it back to Glen Allen with 2 miles to spare.
