Just had my text. Car will be delivered to my house on the 16th December. All things considered, I ordered on the 11th October, so just over 2 months in todays market I cannot complain.

I am in a very similar situation. Ordered through Lex as a company car. Tesla still saying December, but haven't had a text message or been matched to a car (according to their live chat) Can't help but think it is very unlikely I will see my car before the end of the year now.

I'm being told by Tesla that they expect delivery in December, still no text and no match when I chat to them online. Feeling unlikely now, given that it looks as though the Halifax might be the last UK ship this year.

Wow - 10 Months! I'd have lost patience too. You sound like you definitely got lucky on your Tesla order then.

Absolutely. Looks like Tesla have taken a punt on the MYRWD and it may not have paid off. Annoying as that space on the ship could've been taken up with some of our MYLR cars (that they've actually already sold!!)

Had a chat with Tesla today. Whilst I've not yet been matched they said still on track for December delivery. They also said they are still assigning vehicles on the water so more texts to come for departed vessels.

I find it interesting that you could go online and order a MYSR Today and still be offered delivery Nov-Dec. They either have plenty of spare vehicles on the upcoming vessels, in the hope they'll sell before they arrive. Or they are hopeful of additional vessels prior to year end.

That's useful to know. On live chat they advised that I am yet to be matched to a car, therefore I guess I can stand down and not expect a text today.

White Ext / Black Int seem to be popular, maybe they've produced a high number of that combination, and they're getting SMS's I think I recall a little while ago when choosing white interior on the Tesla Website, it pushed delivery window back a month.

Just a revamp I believe.

That'd make sense. They've completely dismantled the existing building. Just a couple of porta-cabins in place at the mo. Hopefully making more room for a big delivery of Model Y's :D:D

I hadn't realised Manchester was closed until Today, after doing a bit of shopping, I thought I'd pop in and see if they could give me an update. Disappointed that it was being taken to the ground. Friendly guy there did take some details on his phone and said he'd text me.

Does anyone know how long it takes to be matched with a car once loading of a vessel completes?

That's frustrating. The first person I spoke to quoted GDPR, but after some persistence with the next agent, they gave me some info. Maybe they're getting fed up of us all chasing up, knowing the RCC Europe is imminent. Hope your car is on board!

Tesla live chat should be able to tell you if you have a VIN assigned. They won't tell you the number, but should be able to confirm if you're matched yet. This should enable you to know whether it's on a vessel yet.

Fingers crossed. The next few days will be fairly nail-biting for us all!

I believe that functionality isn't available until Jan23, when the over the air update is done. Once that's done I think they should bleep

Spoke with Tesla online today. They advised that they're expecting a shipment late November being loaded currently and only one more planned for December which is not yet en route (clearly)

Feels like my date of Nov-Dec is optimistic if you ordered in May and have the same delivery window as me who ordered in October.
