My refund request was in Feb.! They supposedly sent me a check I didn’t receive nor was I shown a copy of the check. I’m an optimist and I still have hope my refund will still come.
I am one of those who cancelled but have not received my refund because there was a mix up that Jason is working to clear up. He has communicated with me multiple times although not recently. I signed up based on trust and I continue to trust him. The situation is frustrating (for both of us). I...
I haven’t bothered but it seems to me one could calibrate Park Assist. I expect there would be anomalous situations that would be accounted for like overhangs.
I recall at least one thread about people mounting an after market camera on the front.
FWIW, we exit an underground parking lot with...
I have a Fremont build 2023 Model Y with Tesla Vision visual parking. I get a visual display that works for me. The car doesn’t have auto park. I also have a 2018 Model 3 with Tesla Vision even though it has ultrasonic sensors and radar. The visual display there also works for me but I haven’t...
Jason, thank you for the detailed update; I truly appreciate it. I will continue to be patient and I’m happy to contribute the $100 if that would help.
I’m sympathetic to his work load and to the issues he is facing. Apparently you don’t understand the issue that some of us are having as presented by raphy3.
I am in the same situation as raphy3. I understand you processed my refund request months ago but I still haven’t received my refund. I also know you are working on resolving this and you have been let down by your accounting service. a few weeks ago you said you were very close to a solution...
Thanks. My openers Sears but they have Wi-Fi so they work. If I want to control both with MyQ I think I need the hub and a second sensor. I’m not ready to do that.
so far, MyQ is working for me except one time the car did not have connectivity for some reason.
This morning MyQ knew not to...
Very glad its working now.
I’m curious what role the hub plays. MyQ sent me one but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with it. I have two openers but the other is controlled by Homelink in another Tesla.
Thanks. That’s what I thought and experienced. I just thought I was wrong and there was a way. I don’t want to remove the sentry drive in the glovebox. Oh well, I’ll just stream from my phone.
Well, I just chipped my trunk lip because I accidentally touched the remote button with the trunk open all the way! I’d had the Y less than 24 hours. I was just turning the remote over. I had no idea it was so sensitive. The root of my problem is my garage door is too low and has a bracket...
Oh, that’s very interesting. I signed up 11 months ago and I have felt that I was sort of covered: covered if you didn’t find any faults prior to my signing up but not knowing if there were any faults. I think what you just said, above, is that my 2 years of coverage hasn’t started yet. Am I...
My experience driving across country is that PB occurs on roads with no traffic ahead of me. It appears to me that it’s a line of site issue. There is a rise in the road and the car doesn’t know the road continues. I turn TACC off if I’m not following someone. This is happening in a 2018 M3. I...
Thank you.
I understood you had updated your terms. The email was just trying to tell you that unless you happened to ship the BMB (BMD?) soon, I wasn’t a priority.
Jason,
My car is fine; I was just curious. I have purchased your service plan but I’m still waiting for the BMD. I emailed you about my travel, schedule.a couple of weeks ago. If it doesn’t arrive in a few days, I won’t need it for a while.
We have two HPWCs for our two Teslas. Our situation might be rare but probably not unique. We used to winter for several weeks in a warm climate leaving the Teslas back in the cold. I was concerned 120V charging would not provide enough power to heat the battery and add charge. So, to reduce my...
Sorry but I don’t remember. We had two issues: wind and the speed limit had been increased to 85 IIRC. Tesla didn’t seem to know about the speed increase so SOC projection was off. As I said, I slowed down and was deciding if we should turn around and go back to Sheridan, WY. I was concerned...
Several years ago we hit unexpectedly high winds going west and had to slow down considerably to compensate. There weren’t any trucks to draft. If you have the right adapters, RV parks can provide ”emergency” charging.
Tesla would still tow you but everything would have been more painful, I suppose. I got our new M3LR stuck in desert sand near Joshua Tree NP in 100 deg. heat. It was very stressful but all worked out OK. We met a very kind and helpful Marine from the nearby base. The flatbed tow truck I called...
To each his own but I would have topped up in Lincoln to avoid stress. FWIW, I have run into situations where the Supercharger wasn’t working or available (parking lot paving).
4) Absolutely good advice. If you wait until morning to charge you will think something isn’t working.
6) Version 3 and urban (72kW) superchargers don’t share.
We have done several cross country round trips. I like to have a charging plan B whenever possible. Chargers are way more plentiful now but sometimes chargers are out of commission for one reason or another.
Be aware of headwinds; they can severely reduce range if they are very strong.
