The creaking shows up I notice more in warm weather. And it comes from the dash more so than the FWD, possibly the front passenger door pressing against it. It disappears when you press firmly on the top of the dash. Service is on Tue - they need to adjust that fwd so it can stop the paint...

My driver door is quiet - only passenger. I applied gummi pfledge less than 3 months ago on both, think my issue is similar to the op. Putting Velcro in the spot where the paint is rubbed off helped a bit. This is temp till Tesla aligns the door yet again so hopefully won’t rub.

One of the mobile service techs recently rolled in a white 2017 X and said it had 180k miles and it has been issue free. I think it must have been a period of intense QC focus probably at the expense of margins and volumes.

Clearly there’s a correlation between how long the vehicle has been out there in ownership to these stats. You’re not comparing apples to apples 2019 vs 2024. The 2022 is essentially the same as 2024 and it’s clearly much worse than the longer sold and driven X3

While the X has its problems I don’t agree with the fact that the 3 or Y ride better. I never wish I had the Y on bad roads over the X. And I never wish I drive the MYP over the MXP and I own both.

You have to go to 40 from 45 on 21 wheel.

A 265/45/20 tire is 29.3 or 29.4 inches in diameter (stock front for 20 inch wheels). On 21 you maybe even able to do 275/40/21 square which is 29.7 but if you want to be sure no front rubbing in full turn, then 265/40/21 would surely work
