They don't care of improving the build quality or the rattle issues, its really annoying when they say "within spec" when I take the car for service. I'm one of the unlucky fellow who paid 130K+ for the junk. Knowing all these issues, do I buy another Tesla X (big no).

various person by person, do you like changing the car every few years (not worried of $$ spent then go for lease) or keeping it for 5+ years (go for buying)

if your wife does not like it, best bet would be cancelling the order (you can say any reason for the cancellation e.g. financial hardship, purchase delay etc,.,) which will not impact your ordering any Tesla in near future.

Mine started around 1k miles, already 7 visits to service center. Same answer every time "yours is better than others or works as expected"

not sure Tesla brand would work for back! It clearly says for front. I've installed only front for my 2023 X also I don't any need for back.

Its normal, even when you set to high, it will default to low when the speed limit is > 35 for better aero dynamic and handling... Telsa engineer told me that we can't override it.

Installed fronts only (ordered from Tesla), its been eight months but no issues so far. Caution: Since the front suspension is so low, there is an issue with speed bumps as it touches most of times (99%), one option would be to adjust suspension height and save the location.

you are 100% correct, the MX headlights are one of the worst, its very hard to drive at night and see w/o turn on the fog lights. They should be ashamed of selling with these lights for such an expensive car.

The dropped the new Model X price by 10k again. Its under 100k now.

Anyone has backup camera issue (MXLR 2023 model) during rainy days. I had a multiple stops during a rainy day. Wiped out the camera with a cloth before next destination but same issue again and again. See the response from Tesla.

My 2 weeks old X driver side door had something similar to this, the service center adjusted it within an hour.

Yes its still there, picked up last Thursday, the headlights at night is very poor (lots of shadows), Tesla could have done a better job for this expensive car.

Picked up yesterday, they unlocked the car and let me check in/out before accepting the delivery. I was so surprised to see, it had zero issues, panel gaps, paint, exterior and interior are 100% perfect, scheduled for PPF. MXLR red/black, 6 seater with FSD

I don't think it will have any impact on the delivery dates unless you have selected the default options (while color, 5 seat config, no FSD etc) expect the upgraded wheels which may change the delivery dates.

I'm glad you were able to pick up, I didn't expect this treatment for a six figure $$$ car.

That is so weird at the last minute, hope its a "small dent". For me, they gave 2 weeks notice with 3 dates to choose from. Keep us posted about your experience and the payment process.

Means expect VIN soon, got same email on 10/28, VIN assigned on 11/01 (shipped on 11/02 will reach the service center on 11/15, scheduled for delivery on 11/17). My order date 01/08 MXLR, Red 6 seater Black interior with FSD.
