I don't understand the switch from USS to vision. Whenever it rains sufficiently hard my 2023 MY tells me "self-park may be degraded." Not that EAP works in the sunshine. Really disappointed.

I reset the breaker for my Tesla wall charger and that did the trick. Hope it doesn't happen again. Hope it is not the circuit breaker panel. I have another fuse that keeps blowing, although the Tesla fuse was _not_ blown....

You are absolutely correct. Usually I hang on to cars longer. But given Tesla's track record, I will likely move on. Maybe I'll buy a Waymo or Cruze?:)

My above post was in response to prior thread that discussed Tesla's promise to roll out radar with camera's by January 2023. Still waiting for something, anything to be activated, tesla vision, USS, radar, something! So I get what I paid for....

Is there an update on this? It is well past January 2023 and no radar, no USS. I also bought Enhanced Autopilot and got the message that it was disabled until Tesla Vision was activated.

I am not holding my breath. He has been making so many promises for so long. I sort of feel like a fool for falling for it. I hope he will prove me wrong. Maybe if he stops playing with Twitter or X or whatever he calls it.....

Actually I don't know if it was your idea, but I saw your video on using duct tape to help guide backing into the garage. How did you measure where to put the tape? The overall width of the MY with mirrors is stated as 83.8 inches, without mirrors is 75.6. My carport entrance is 88.8 inches...

One of my coworkers raves about the Autopark and Summon which is partly why I upgraded. I figure if I decided to upgraded to FSD it would be less expensive since I already had the EAP. In other words, If you already have EAP, upgrading to FSD is $9000. If you don't have EAP, FSD costs $15000...

But the audio to bluetooth adapters I see on amazon plug into an AUX port on the vehicle, which the newer cars don't have. There is a USB in the glovebox but I use that for sentry mode. Am I missing something?

You probably have an older Tesla with USS. Mine does not and the Vision isn't that helpful. That is why I wanted the autopark. Ihave been backing up into the carport because my charger is located in the back of the carport. Also it is hard to back out of my driveway with all the cars parked on...

I bought enhanced auto pilot for the auto park. Since then I have hit the right rear of my tesla on my carport while backing into it. I regret buying my model Y. Tesla Vision appears to be yet another unfilled promise.

My understanding is that the Tesla comes with tinting that is not ceramic and does not provide UV protection. It is only for privacy. So for real UV protection for your Tesla you need to do all the windows.
