You are missing the point. In China, US and Europe the price drop was substantial. Not by a few thousand but by around 10k or more. I cannot see a reason why Tesla could not have extended this to Australian buyers. As MYP buyers have been waiting for a very long time. Also I would like to have...

Yes I was hoping HW4 was imminent but thats not the case it seems. Also no big price drops for Australia so I feel like I am paying too much for the car.

But when will Model Ys ship with HW4? Seems like its still a distance off. Maybe luck to ship this year. I guess this means that the currently shipping Model Ys to Australia will be HW3.

Hope so. Its overdue for a tech upgrade. Hardware 3 has been out for a long time. After waiting so long for an AU MYP you would hope TESLA will gives us the new generation tech.

Any ideas if we will get the upgraded cameras and hardware 4 with the MYPs?
