It seems like there is a post like this every few weeks, but I need to vent somewhere.
In the last few days, my $130k car has tried to crash at least once, tried to drift into concrete barriers multiple times, tried to drive into my garage door sills, brake-checked a car behind me multiple...
I'm pretty fed up with my AP2 randomly deciding not to work. The last week or so, it hasn't worked in the morning at all. Maybe if we pool our experiences, we can figure out what the hell Tesla is up to.
OTOH, it seems to consistently work on my commute home.
In my case, I figure it could be...
So, I washed my Model S (for the first time ever! woot!) over the weekend, and then washed my wife’s Range Rover Sport right after. As I washed each car bit, it occurred to me that the two cars were very similar, and that in many ways, the cheaper Range Rover was technologically superior, more...
This always-garaged, low mileage Roadster easily charges to ~168 miles in standard mode, ~222 miles in range mode. I’ve sorted out the wheel and tire sizes, along with alignment, for better balance, and it handles corners like its Lotus cousin - it’s an unmitigated blast to drive. Always...

edit...

I figure the cost of replace the two damaged rims is ~$500+labor...
I'm coming up on the last month of my 2010's extended warranty, so I took my car up to Fremont for them to look into the last few niggles and for them to give the car a once-over. The conversation I had with my advisor really worried me though:
They won't sell me another service warranty...
KTVU News led with a story about Tesla choosing Reno as the site for the Big Ol' Battery Plant. They interviewed and rode along with (including the obligatory 3... 2... 1... whiiiine launch) a 2.5(?) Roadster driver who "just bought the car in May".
Anybody on here?
Has anyone attempted using Sector111's TALLrails seat lowering rail in a 2010?
I ordered one to test it out, but if someone has already tried this, it'd save me the hassle of shipping it back (not to mention removing/reinstalling the seat).
