Got it open with duct tape as I pressed the button on the HPWC. Then as you said adjusted the black part on the car to not close as deep. Works now. Thanks for your help

Agreed but my service and tech experience was great. The rear cupholder wouldn't stay retracted and had to be replaced. He arrived at 9 am for a 9-12 window was done in 20 minutes and spent some time checking other stuff out and was just a great experience all around. Couldn't be happier.

Tesla service came yesterday for this. He showed me internal notes on this issue are confirmed and it is definitely a FW created problem and will be addressed soon.
