Unless your wall connector is on a 120V circuit, there is no neutral connection. So it would be a 240V only connection. There are a couple of adapters available from evseadapters, and no doubt others, to go from J1772 plug to a NEMA style receptacle. But again, 240V only.

To add to what @Earl mentioned, apparently a lot of early funding for public L2 stations spec'd 30-32 amp charging. Combine with the common commercial voltage of 208V and you get ~6 kW. Adequate for early Volts, Leafs, and other early EVs. But less so for today's vehicles and environment...

As mentioned, the voltage doesn't matter either way. The EVSE only reports max amperage to the car. My 25' Camco TT-30 cable is rated to 300V.

I made a similar 14-30/50P -> 5-20R adapter for my wife's 12 amp Chevy Volt EVSE. I say 14-30/50 because since the neutral blade isn't being used, one can omit it entirely. Then the same plug can plug into either receptacle type. You could do the same and only need to carry two adapters...

Many/most EVgo stations that have the integrated CHAdeMO adapter show up on the Tesla nav. One needs to have the "two lightning bolt" option, same as for Urban Superchargers, selected on the nav screen when displaying charging locations. Even turns on preconditioning while driving to them.

One I tested a while back maxed at 168 kW (171 kW on charger screen). It was close to the best I've done with CCS, which was low 170s at an EA. Got Autocharge+ to work as well.
