Thanks for the info! During my delivery, they told me they couldn't fix it without messing up the trunk alignment. I kinda thought that was a BS answer without them even trying to remount it. Guess I'll submit my service request and take my chances.

I had 3 different VINs, all HW3. Rejecting a VIN does not increase your chances at the moment.

Low VIN could be from others rejecting theirs to wait for HW4

That's a crap shoot at this point. Rumor is that Fremont is building all cars with HW4 but Austin is doing extremely low numbers with no one knowing when they will start producing more. Safest would be to wait almost the full length of the hold.

Looks like that's one that they might make sooner. Only thing that could make it quicker is the 20" wheels

Welp my SA confirmed via text that my PF7893XX only has the AP3 option code meaning no HW4. I haven't even schedule delivery yet but went ahead and asked about switching to another VIN.

Could you not accept delivery/reject it for the reason of wanting HW4 or would you need something to be wrong with the car? What if you couldn't take delivery within the time frame they give? Would that get you rematched with a different VIN?
