I Level 2 charged it to 100% a few days ago to see what the full range was and to try to reset BMS but it was definitely less than the rated 507kms/315 miles (6% remaining+459kms based on this Tessie screenshot). Also weirdly it stopped charging at 99% but then showed 100 once I got in the car...

How does one take readings from the BMS directly?

Correct, picked up in May, driven 5000kms since and the weather has been pretty hot (cabin protection usually on) though the average SOC was 55% (only ever charged to 55% other than 3-4 super charger sessions on a road trip ranging from 70-85% SOC). It seems extremely high for 2 months...

thanks @AAKEE ! I did want to test out the full HP pulls with 100% and it was awesome but will continue with the 55% regimen. On the m3p, I don’t see much HP loss 0-100kmh at 55% but the higher end is insanely better (100kmh+) - not relevant for regular commuting but definitely for track...

Is it worth using a fairing for the roof rack? Would it be better for aerodynamics or worse than OEM design? Yakima 40” fairing should fit right (also WTB).

Excellent - thank you so much! Tire pressure is at 42 cold Width could definitely be affecting it (running 255 rear, 235 front staggered) But I think the biggest effect is compound from the continentals vs the pirelli P-zero EVs Only driven under 100kms but will test them out on a road trip...

I’ve seen some hung from the top of the trunk? Not exactly sure how that is done I thought the modern spare fits in the extra storage below the trunk is that not the case?

Hi all, I plan on getting the modern spare kit but I am going on a small road trip and need a last minute spare. What should I use? Also I am swapping my uberturbines for 18s so maybe just a tire inflator is fine?

I guess I am trying to decrease my wh/km with the 18” wheels (I was planning on changing it within the menu as well to account for speedometer/regen changes). Tires are a tricky one since the p-zero elects are EV-specific 20” and I am replacing them with Michelin/Continental performance tires...

I’m not following with the 80.7 - Tessie is predicting 506kms (315 miles) but I can check the estimate on screen when I charge to 100% for a road trip. What’s the significance of the 80.7 here? The highest usable capacity I’ve seen since I got it is 80.4 (Tessie).

On a side note, what’s a good free iPhone tesla 3rd party app? Tessie is great but I don’t find I use anything other than the Usable capacity metric (which may be useless…) and scanmyTesla is only for Android?

I love my stock Pirellis Elect on the M3p but the uberturbines have to go with our roads. I think I will go back to the Pirellis once I wear out these mixed tires!

I know I’ve already screwed my tire situation by getting staggered rims… these Enkeis were just too nice… What are your guys’ thoughts on mixing pilot sport AS in the rears and continentals in the fronts? I should be fine right..

Hey @MODEL+ Danny - why would these only fit on non performance? I’m looking at some staggered fit Enkei NT03-RR - Front 8.5” wide (235/45 R18), Rear 9” wide (255/40 R18). Would these fit the 23 M3P? Stock suspension and the pics I’ve seen are only on non-performance :/
