Sister in law buying a new model 3 (Canada version)

Perfect. I know what car she is going to buy.

I'm living a nightmare experience - Desperately need advice

I had a hell of time with a lease buy back for my Toronto Model X. I did have to escalate it to Tesla financing and the local office at the same time. In my case I needed a safety so the local office did that and I kept escalating to finance. Once the problem was fixed I asked why is this such...

Sister in law buying a new model 3 (Canada version)

They have Baseball in Canada. Toronto has the MLB Blue Jays team. I think you are thinking of England 🤓

Sister in law buying a new model 3 (Canada version)

Thank you. I think the LFP battery is the one that go to 100% and stay there?

Sister in law buying a new model 3 (Canada version)

My sister in law, from Toronto, was going to buy a new Prius for almost the same money as a Model 3. I explained the situation to her and I think I have her convinced. Does anyone know what type of batter the base Canadian Model 3 has?

    Funny FSD story

Florida does not require a front plate 🤓

New Tesla/EV owner and first-time FSD beta user - is this a joke?

The new version (11.4.2) is much better but it still needs to be watched closely. These are Beta versions and should be treated as such.

    FSD 11.4.x experiences

I can really feel the difference with this version. Mine downloaded last night so I have only had one ride on it. I look forward to challenging it.

    Funny FSD story

I am insulted by your "BS' comment. I asked the officer if you wanted to get in my car and see. He did not ask or force himself in anyway. The officer was respectful and professional. I do think curiosity played a role but Police officers are human beings not constitutional robots? P.S. I would...

    Funny FSD story

You are correct but you know we live in the real world. I find being nice with the Police is far better for me. I have gotten out of so many tickets simply by being respectful and nice. P.S. It does not cost you anything but yet you may have benefits.

    Funny FSD story

Here is a funny FSD story. I was driving on FSD using my Tesla Model X and I noticed a police officer following me. I actually just let FSD go the exact speed limit so I did not worry about it. I suddenly noticed that he was turning when I turned and finally he pulls me over. I took over...

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

Florida is Nuclear, Solar and some wind for carbon free but they have natural gas plants that run a lot so that is why it is probably more expensive. They also do not do off peek power which would be nice for electric car owners, who charge all night.

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

That is fantastic. It really make sense to have an electric car in that state.

    Speed bumps and FSD

There should be a way to enter a speed bump so that the car will know in the future. Also the AI needs to be able to see and identify them.

    Speed bumps and FSD

I have noticed that FSD does not seem to notice speed bumps. I have to take control of vehicle every time I come up to one. How are others with FSD dealing with it?

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

That is some good advice. The lowest one for sale in the USA with double my miles is 10,000 more then Tesla's highest range offered me. I would lose about 3000 in sales tax rebate so I would still get 7000 more. Maybe leasing from Tesla makes more sense in the future because they price in the...

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

Just a little work towards customer service would really increase sales. I know Elon is amazing but buying a car is a big deal for most people and little babying goes a long way. I would predict that Tesla can do 1 - 5% better just with excellent customer service.

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

On the trade in, I think the full self driving is not really factored in. I definitely get more value outside of Tesla than inside because of this. Anyway I do have another year of warranty and the car is very similar so I will hold off for now; at least until a feel a little more comfortable...

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

When I purchased my first Tesla in 2013 the customer service was actually excellent. The employee did put in a double charger instead of a supercharger but that was an honest mistake (employees did not understand super chargers back then). They were very nice, they took me for a test drive, then...

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

I did get a call back but from a call center person. I do think Tesla should put some attention in to new car purchases. The high end will need a little more babying then just go to the site (especially that it has issues). Also Tesla fix your survey or remove it. It looks bad if someone is...

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

We pay 14 cents a Kilowatt here. What is the cost there?

That does suck. California really likes to tax you.

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

I suspect by my range that the car will sell for more elsewhere. You do have to keep in mind that the sales tax benefit you get from buying from Tesla. I love the company but I just want them to fix their issues and give a customer a little respect.

Trying to buy a new Model X - Disaster

I presently have a 2020 Model X with full self driving. I decided to buy the plaid and started the process. I came to the purchase and it had no where to enter my trade in. I then called Tesla's support number (888) 518-3752, which by itself was not easy to find. While going through the menus...
