I ended up taking it into Tesla service. They knew right away what it was and mentioned it was a common problem. They put insulation in the panel above the window and the problem has been fixed.

I saw that too. I'm not sure how they would know if you used one or not. I plan on using just a detail spray with ceramic properties. I think this may be a way Xpel to have detailers apply their product when the PPF gets installed.

Here is a close-up of the cover. Looking at it again, the picture shows a total of three imperfections. There are two very small nicks and the one on the right is the chip I was referring to. This is on the passenger side rear cover. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Is this the measurement of the rear or the front?

I had a feeling that it had to do with the car leveling. I just don't understand the negative and positive numbers. If the car was on perfectly level ground and the suspension was set to medium, would all the ride heights be at 0 inches?

When I look under the suspension setting and view the suspension data, I noticed that the ride height in the front and back is always changing. When you see a negative number like "-0.47 inches" for the front left, what does this actually mean? Does it mean it is -0.47 inches below what it is...
