As per the youtube reviews it doesn't seem to block the vents. the screen is not that big and is closer to the driver than to the vents.

Looks like Hansshow did come up with a new dashboard touch screen: Hansshow F68. From what I've seen on youtube it ticks all the boxes for me! Might order one. Any one here use it yet...

How to you set up Carplay as homepage in Tesla... I don't know of any setting on the Tesla which allows you to set up a homepage.

Nothing special, no automations. I use my Iphone Hotspot to connect the Ownice box with the internet. Also tried with a dedicated mobile hotspot and an Android Phone. Ownice was able to connect to all of them for internet access...

Which box are you using? CarlinKit or Ownice? The Ownice is a much faster, smoother box.

You can safely update. I just did to the latest version and everything is fine. You can anyway go back to this 2.7.5 firmware by re-flashing if something goes wrong

Don't think so. I live in Europe and I have tried to change from China to a lot of European countries... none of the worked. Maybe I will try United States but don't see why this should matter.

It worked!!! I re-flashed the firmware with the above software and image! Now SSID is broadcast again! PS: don't play with the Wifi settings. Leave it set to China. Any other country will break the wifi and it won't broadcast the SSID.

I even tried some tools like NetSpot and see what wifi networks/SSIDs are beeing broadcast in the area. Nothing from the Ownice. So either the update bricked the box or something else disabled the wifi. I now received a solution to revert to an older firmware 2.7.5 Instructions...
