    Annoying external speaker

I agree... Sometimes this forum is one notch below reddit. That being said, I have a 2020 and one time the game we were playing started glitching and broadcasting out to external speakers! The entire neighborhood had to hear us finish a level of skyforce reloaded lol. I'd bet that isn't...

    2024.2.7 Sucks?

I installed this same day I had axles fixed on my '20 X.. I didn't have PWS and now I do. Can anyone confirm if this update made that happen ? Was it the SC? The sound bothers me so much...

Round two: how much control will Tesla have on my manual driving?

Thank you! Yes I was obsessed with the Y, but when I rented and drove it I realized my torso is a bit too big to sit comfortably. Both are great cars but the overhead glass was a clear winner.

Wouldn't be fair to not add a picture, so there you go!

Round two: how much control will Tesla have on my manual driving?

I want to say that I finally pulled the trigger. The car is unlike anything I could have dreamed of. It course with all the tech, comes tech privacy worries as to be expected, and posted above. However, the pros FAR outweigh the cons, and I am very happy.

    Current Arizona Registration Costs

Hello everyone. Now that I have my car I can update. Tax was 5.6 percent of sale value and tax was $900 for a 2020. PS.... I love my car, and my other dystopian post was all in vain.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

Thank you. So can the front be adjusted for camber or is it also solid but just not as extreme?
  8. Y

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

I doubt they would even notice in this case.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

Is this a problem for the front too? I would argue that we are not winging it. When I get my car I will set the height, shim it and measure the final camber.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

PS couldn't the degree of change be very accurately predicted based on physics and a diagram? I don't have the car or I could do this.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

This is a very useful thread! I am looking to get my first Tesla, the X, and wasn't looking forward to an additional $500 with the purchase. This is a stupidly simple idea. I love it.

Failed Model 3 HV Battery - Out of Warranty - DIY

This thread is so crazy! It makes me really consider a post warranty scenario. For now my diesel truck is so cheap and easy to fix. This is a whole new world ... The same question remains, new Y or used X and will I be back on here fixing batteries.

I regret my Model Y purchase because of seat comfort and seating position problems

I'm pretty stuck on this concept... Hinged on if those are bolted or welded to the battery frame, then it would be as simple as welded square tubing. If done right, it could be the most comfortable clean vehicle ever made for us tall torso people. PS the model S is the worst car for torso...

I regret my Model Y purchase because of seat comfort and seating position problems

Just food for thought on the forum, here is the risers of the Y.

Has anyone tried lowering the seats in the Model Y?

Thank you for the input, but that's why we are posting here. I dug deep and here are some pictures of the stilts. Super easy if the console wasn't involved, but it seems you will have to lower the center console and also passenger seat to make it all line up.

Has anyone tried lowering the seats in the Model Y?

I'm not sure. I have the same exact inquiry. I'm 6,6, all torso! I plan to get a Y soon, so let's find out.

Round two: how much control will Tesla have on my manual driving?

That was a really well thought out and informative response, thank you. I can read the manual all I want but you guys offer me the insight into ownership that the manual won't talk about, that's the value here. I still think the pros far outweigh the cons for these vehicles... but you are...

Round two: how much control will Tesla have on my manual driving?

I'll read the manual. I went for a test drive last week and I tried AP, three seconds in, it violently swerved across the lane and would have hit an audi if I didn't catch it. It terrified my entire family and that is mostly why I'm here.

Round two: how much control will Tesla have on my manual driving?

JJ, that was an incredible response and exactly what I was looking for, thank you! I will do more homework on what can be disabled... But I fear that you are right. We are truly in the day of iRobot.

Round two: how much control will Tesla have on my manual driving?

As a potential new Tesla owner I'm disappointed that you deleted my lengthy post... And to accuse me of trolling...? I have legitimate safety concerns before spending fifty thousand dollars on a vehicle that could potentially endanger me or my family with previously unincorporated driving...

Tesla new steer-by-wire, that'll be a HELL NO for me....

Progressive steering with a yoke is one possibility.

    Current Arizona Registration Costs

Hey thank you so much for a definite answer. That's really sad, I bet the EV community feels jipped to just get thrown in the mix. 1% is low, I get it, but the same? Greed.

    Current Arizona Registration Costs

Hello everyone, I dug through the internet and this forum to avoid a duplicate post. As you know the government is confusing when trying to increase how much money they steal from us. My question is this: If I buy a used Tesla first registered before the arizona law changed, does that car...
