I didn't realize the ECA would be split for on/off peak like that. That's a bonus since it saves an extra 1.3 cents per kwh from 9pm to 9am.

There was one person early on in this thread who appears to have signed up for the demand plan. I think they might not have understood that one of the demand charges applies 24/7 (I didn't initially either), or maybe they'll be spreading out their usage really well.

I hope you mean the Time of Use plan because the Peak Demand plan is brutal unless you can zero out your 2-6pm usage with a battery. Unless I don't understand how that one works.

I don't think they have that here yet unless I've just missed it. Even the TOU plans are just a pilot program at this point.

Indeed. That's a rounding error on my part. A Powerwall2 can output 7kw or about 30 amps according to what they told me. The powerwall (or couple) would make the TOU work out even better especially if you work at home or have to start making dinner before 6pm for those young kids...
