After 21 straight days in the shop they have finally decided to replace the MCU. We'll see if that fixes the problem.

I would have to 2 button reset on nearly every drive. Good luck with yours! Our brand new MXP is still in the shop with Tesla. After this weekend it will be almost halfway to lemon law city. I am really happy about paying $96k to drive a beat up 50,000 mile MX loaner.

South Florida is showing about 30 Xs but now no X Plaids. This is maybe making me feel better about the $96,500 cashier's check I forked over yesterday.

Unfortunately, this is not fixed. The no audio issue has reocurred and the fix seems to be to disconnect all Bluetooth audio devices. Reboot, power off, and then audio comes back. If I reconnect any iphone then all audio on the car stops working.

I think they are going to lower the price and throw in a ton of freebies (free supercharging, free FSD, etc) at year end to clear inventory at any cost.

Wow where did they ever do 16-18% off MSRP? Economy there must be tanking. In South Florida the MB dealers only spec the EQS+ SUV at $120k+ and they have never done any markdowns and add crazy dealer fees and YSP markup to the lease MF. The economy here is still too strong.

Yeah I mean you can afford it technically. That is true. You'll just be working until you are dead at that rate.

That said, I will gladly borrow $96k at 3.99% for an MXP and put $96k into Ally Financial 3 year paper yielding 8%~, and enjoy that positive carry, even after tax. Ally is TBTF. This is not financial advice.

Just seems like $299,999 is not a lot. After tax, even in a red state, that's only $225,000~ in after tax income. And spending $87,000+ on a car (including sales tax etc) maybe not so good idea. Just sayin...
