Called Tesla yesterday and complained, got a call today from them that they are assigning me a car manually with estimated delivery late January/early February 🥳 Apparently my local service center did not follow Tesla Norway in automatically matching tow hook orders with cars without Tow hooks...

EDD updated today from 3-6 weeks to Dec 14th - Dec 31st. Still no VIN, neither in app or sourcecode.

Interesting news, the swedish union for Tesla workers are on strike and there's a blockade at all ports in Sweden in the way of dock workers refusing to touch any Teslas inbound. Tesla Sweden is working around this, but haven't yet said how.

Mine still says 3-6 weeks Agreed. Mine is still saying 3-6 weeks EDD. Its about 3-4 weeks since it changed to that and still no VIN 😂

As far as I've heard, no one with tow hitch have been assigned VIN.. at least not in Norway. A rumour I've heard (unconfirmed) is that tow hitch cars will be delivered from late December in Norway at least.

I saw the same thing when ordering my RWD. The specifications site now says full premium for both with the exception being fewer speakers in the RWD.

I got an EDD of October-November first, then after three days it said Nov 22nd to February 5th, yesterday changed to January - February and now 3 - 6 weeks.. maybe I should just stop checking until I receive the sms to schedule delivery 😂 Still no VIN though, neither in app or source code.

Highlands have been unloaded in Ashdod by Mediterreanen Sea. According to Marinetraffic the ship is now underway towards Derince, Turkey. Unknown if it unloaded its entire load of Teslas in Israel.

Seems rather random though. My RWD with tow hitch ordered on September 1st hasn't changed EDD since September 3rd. Still november - February so it will be interesting to see what happens. Hoping for it to be on RCC Antwerp and a update on the car to happen within the next 2-3 weeks 😅

Just checked the norwegian Tesla website, if you add a tow hitch on the SR the EDD says January 2024 - February 2024 and it is October - November without. For LR it says February 2024 to March 2024 with tow hitch and November 2023 to December 2023 without it.

Same here, if I didn't think I'd have much use of the hook I would just remove it 😅 I've heard some in Norway having EDD updated to Nov 16th to Dec 31st without VIN assigned. But for me with delivery to Northern Norway still have no update, despite order date of Sep 1st 😢

A friend of mine told me that most people get their VINs when the ship either is passing the Suez canal or right before. That's what happened with him and his pre refresh Model 3. Seems to line up with what happened with Crystal Ray. Crossing my fingers for RCC Antwerp anyways 😇

Might be color and other combinations indeed. The orderdate for the car mentioned was September 1st, same as me. I still have no VIN and edd Nov 22nd to Feb 5th, but my car is Stealth Grey SR with tow hitch and delivery to Bodø 😅

May still be the Crystal Ray, the cars will be transferred to a different boat in Zeebrugge and brought to Drammen port for Norway vehicles, at least most of them. So it makes sense with a later delivery than the other European countries.
