I can get the ABS to engage instantly at 100+ mph on stock brake pads, until the pads overheat after repeated stops, better brakes wont stop the Plaid any faster, but stickier tires would indeed.

You have traction issues, a faster 60 ft by a few tenths will gain twice as much in time at the end. Trap speed of 148 is pretty good, and I would bet with more traction you might pick up a few MPH because of more power allowed and trap at 150+.

Picked up my MSP today, one scratch on mirror they are replacing, other than that body panels are aligned. I need to get used to the car, first EV. I have been in a ton of fast cars and spent a ton of time at drag strips and road courses, it is insane fast for sure and so effortless:)

I think Tesla is more likely to lower prices some more on the S and X. They will gain market share and drive revenue by lowering prices. This could hurt margins short term but long term, more repeat buyers will stay with the brand.

The way the stock is acting and with numbers coming out soon, I wouldn't be surprised if they lower prices again to get sales and inventory moving.

Static camber is too much in the rear of the S compared to many other performance cars. Using the shims or N2 to reduce camber is the first step. With that you should get better tire wear and better straight line acceleration because of more grip. You could loose some cornering grip in the rear...

Thats not what I said, given same MPH, the best the Lucid can do is equal to the plaid unless it can cut a lower 60 ft time, which is unlikely. The Plaid has traction control better figured out, the Lucid does not. Ive probably logged 1,000 passes at the drag strip in various vehicles.

Lucid isn't running 8.9 unless it can get traction figured out in a big way, meaning better than the Plaid. What the results told me is that the Pliad has traction control figured out better than a lucid, so from a stop light in the real world, the Plaid will own the Lucid. If its a punch race...

MPH=HP to weight ratio. The Plaid and the Lucid running the same MPH means the HP/weight ratio is the same. the 1/4 mile difference is traction.

The trap speeds are almost exactly the same, meaning, in a rolling race, its a dead heat if both cars get traction. It would appear that Tesla traction control works better off the line, they switched lanes, crappy track conditions.
