    Rear trunk won't open

Thanks, pts260! While this didn’t fix my problem, it let me get the trunk open. Now, the trunk will unlatch, and I can open it manually. While the car still thinks it’s always open, and it doesn’t latch correctly, at least I can use it until my service appointment. Happy New Year!!

Supercharger - San Jose, CA - Cherry Avenue (LIVE 21 Dec 2018, 24 Urban stalls)

Drove by this morning to see two Tesla employees on site. They’re double-checking wiring connections in each pedestal. They wouldn’t say when, but I would hazard a guess this location will be in service today or tomorrow...

    Did I Make a Mistake Buying a Quick 220 w/L6-20 Outlet?

What I carry in our 14 S85. Looked at the Quck 220 and didn’t see the benefits (need to 120 volt circuits from each side of the house feed available). Used most of these one tome or the other. The 14-50 extension cord is the most frequently used item...

Adding Next Gen seats to an older S

As I said, we didn’t find the first generation seats comfortable for long distance trips. 2nd generation (next gen) seats offer significantly improved bolstering. In my experience, this greatly adds to driving comfort. Or, I could just say “because I wanted to”.
