@plumazul I agree with @Krash , if you can get them on video saying that, that would be solid evidence. However I do agree with that statement, but Tesla will never publicly note that anywhere.

seems like same issue I had. ECU was showing Critical and INIT. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the visuals to show or the calibration wheel to make any progress.

the claim can be coupled with safety I feel... All of my features were disabled due to a SW patch, related to FSD Beta updates.. on top of that, MCU2 was the sole reason I was pushed a newer software version but when they checked my SW prior to, they said I was current and up to date..

So here I am with a bricked FSD car I was eagerly waiting for, trying to reference others similar issues here, still not getting the "NEW EXPERIENCE" of the SW features.. Paid a pretty hefty premium for the MCU2 upgrade and the PTC heater, just to wait 11 days before I could be seen at the SC...

Status for the ECU is yellow and says “INIT” is that normal? All cameras and sensors are green. Interesting enough, The front facing cameras are all showing calibrating. How does one reset the DAS?

No indication was provided to “calibrate” cameras but I just did a reset on them so I’ll have more info in the next 100m or so

those cameras were installed in February 2023, they should be under warranty from Tesla? I can’t seem to do any voice commands either, it says unable to connect when I try to talk to text or hit the voice command button

Did the reset fix? I just updated my MCU and the update was immediate, but I’m getting APP_W272 error when I try to hit AP. Cameras all seem to be working okay when I go to camera view.. reset didn’t work, haven’t tried camera recal or change wheel

My only concern is that I don’t have any notifications to recalibrate. Just the APP_W207 alert.

The good news is that once the PTC is replaced they conduct another post test, just to be sure the part replaced was the fix. If something else is found then it doesn’t cost extra to run additional test as it’s all tied into the same ticket.
