Yeah I had a Kia Stinger prior to this and I miss the HUD for sure. Speed, speed limit, blind spot, nav and other info right in the line of sight of the road was awesome.

I like the interior lighting personally, I think it makes a cabin feel more upscale. Again, it's personal preference which is why I wish they'd just add a manual slider lol. I do agree about the heads up display. I do miss having that now that I've made the switch.

Kind of...Even at full display brightness, the LEDs are way too dim at night IMO. They're a decent level if you keep the interior light color wheel open, but that doesn't seem like a great solution. Just give people a slider and the choice to have it how they want it.

You get options for On, Off, and Auto. Unless you have the ambient lighting menu open, the light is really dim at night. There isn’t an option for intensity. I would love for them to add one, because having the light menu open 100% of the time doesn’t feel ideal to me.

There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason, but mine was June, July, then May 22-June 8 (15 days), then July 12-August 8th (4 weeks), now it's 6/26-6/30 (4 days). No VIN for me, so I'm fully expecting to be pushed out again, as many others seem to be.

Some pretty awesome numbers from Reddit tonight. The old M3P did the 60-130 run in 11.4-11.5 seconds. This new one is shaving almost 2 seconds off that time, and seeing consistent 0-60s in the 2.9X ranges without rollout subtracted is impressive.

It's awesome to start seeing these sub 11 runs in verified conditions.

I could be conflating, but I think the lowest 0-60 we've seen so far is like 2.78 with rollout subtracted, and 2.93 without rollout.

Crazy how much of a different 6 hundredths of a second feels lol. 11.03 vs. 10.97 feels like a world of difference, even though there's no perceptible difference in the real world.

Yeah the money factor is terrible. The only thing making me lease is that I don’t qualify for the tax credit on a purchase so at least with the lease they’re taking 7500 off the top which offsets the crap rate somewhat.

I agree. It's a personal preference obviously, but I prefer the steering feel, turn in, and overall handling of a staggered setup vs. that of a square setup. 235 up front feels like it should be enough tire, but maybe I'm missing something.

Ventilated seats universally work better when the car is in motion. When the HVAC is really going and the car is moving you’ll feel a huge difference. I’ve had ventilated seats in Kias, Acuras, and Volvos, and it’s been the same across the board. I expect it to be the same in the M3.

Just to add another data point, I’m 6’3 and change 255-260, and have broad shoulders, and the seats were really comfortable when I sat in them yesterday. I felt supported/hugged, but not squeezed. I will miss not having an extending thigh cushion, but otherwise I am thrilled with the seats.

I believe we will see 60-130 in the 9s. Might be mid/high 9s but I think we will see it. The first person to post a dragy 1/4 mile did 11.09 at 123 MPH with a 3.15 0-60. That means that his 61-123 was 7.94 seconds. Even if it takes an extra second and a half to do the last 7 MPH it’s a 9.4.

Fwiw I think there are improvements to be found in those numbers. I’m expecting people to start posting 2.85-2.9 0-60 without rollout, and 10.8-10.9 1/4 mile. The 1/4 time specifically is a drastic improvement over the outgoing model IMO. .5-.7 seconds better is big to me at least.

I miss phoenix/scottsdale roads so much. Can’t wait to see your results - they’ll be in ideal conditions for sure!
