Yes, that refers to the software version, not the model year of the car. So, 21+ refers to version 21 software 2021.24.4. .32.5, .32.10, etc. It is not a tipoff to model year 2021+ or 2022.

This does not explain the issue with folks that have a VIN. Most of those people even know the born date of their S, however, still no solid EDD from Tesla???

When Fremont places a hold on delivery of vehicles because of an issue they are working to correct. You EDD is likely to continue to change, so I wouldn't get too concerned about it at this point.

There is some kind of containment hold. Many have had a VIN for weeks, but no delivery. Perhaps related to the shafts issue? Who knows.

Tesla's lack of communication is abhorrent. Some side effects are speculation and conspiracy theories. The truth is probably much simpler: configuration, not price is the reason behind delayed deliveries. Plaids are priority. There is no real evidence Tesla is prioritizing Long Range models...
