It is called "RUN A NEW SERVICE" to achieve a new 200 amp panel. Cannot imagine a 100 amp panel unless the house has not been upgraded since the 1940's.
No regrets...$134,500 plus about $11,000 in full wrap, interior and exterior Ceramic Pro. Not to mention the +9% state tax....wow, that is a lot of money. I arrive at destination more relaxed and drive more carefully and safely than ever before.
Mine will be coming off and probably only be used to go into Canada. I am glad I have it, but like @RossRAllen am not totally convinced the license itself is not blocking airflow to the point where there could be an overheating problem. Also, there is the possibility that anything out there...
OK...last week pulled over by Wa State Trooper in Lynnwood just as I entered the I-405 Southbound. Rolled down the right front window and sat with both hands on the wheel. Smiling Trooper said: "Hi, where's your front licence plate"? I responded that I did not want holes drilled in the bumper...
Yes...please let us know about the hex screw adjustment. My SC has it noted on my file, but they referred to the white lines on the display as being "reference" points only. I don't buy that. You align headlights, you position cameras. I do think they ought to do the work just in case, but...
@Birdcar...depending on time of day...maybe offer him a cup of coffee and ask him if he would be willing to discuss the criteria he uses when bidding and see how close my comments were. I remember when I first started out I was the sole employee and worked for wages factoring in no vehicle...
Mine has a similar problem. I have not been able to figure it out, but back up better using side mirrors which is difficult as I have the outside mirrors set so far out to minimize the blind spot. Maybe I will practice today and report as a problem.
That is different, but still 20 minutes travel (to go both directions), 10 minutes to scope and discuss, and about $1.50 per mile for a truck plus all the General and Administrative costs. Please don't take this the wrong way, but if that is all he did he would be out of business as soon as he...
My goodness we have a different set of values. $200 is not out of line for a registered and insured contractor. Factor in travel time to and from and he better be working out of his garage at $200. I have been a contractor for almost 40 years so know costs of doing business and that they vary...
@ericwol quote:
This hyper alert stuff is bull crap. It seams like it an excuse to harass people. Seattle Police has a bad history of shooting civilians.
There is no getting around that law enforcement has a way to go to clean up its act both here in Seattle and many places across the country...
Are you sure you should use the word "accused" which is judgmental and non-information gathering? Does not sound like typical police investigation, but as others have said, most patrol are on hyper alert. The 24 / 7 nature of charging stations is still new to most including law enforcement...
My MX P90D came in at $1700 per year. Higher than I thought it would be but the coverage is greater due to my exposure. You insure for what you do not want to pay out or cannot afford to. The average wrongful death in Wa State about 8 years ago was $1.5 million. So I insure for $2 million...
Ah, but there is a state law in Washington State against unsecured loads...and strictly enforced. This is a long section:
RCW 46.61.655
Dropping load, other materials—Covering.
(1) No vehicle shall be driven or moved on any public highway unless such vehicle is so constructed or loaded as to...
EXACTLY! I too can see the scratched area. Timing not great as I will have to do a semi-hurried road trip. Don't want to make it in my wife's car. Also, not confident that they will have needed parts when I take it in.
Mine will make that noise when sitting in the garage waking up as the spoiler stretches and yawns, but becomes more pronounced when I hit 45 mph and the spoiler changes positions. It is making a grinding noise then there is a rattle. Waiting for a call back from the SC. Not optimistic that it...
Received a note from Tesla SC rep that Tesla is aware of the issues: "I have put a note in your file regarding the windshield ghosting. Tesla is aware and we are working with our supplier to fine tune the design of the windshield to reduce the frequency at which this is occurring."
I don't...
Hmmm have tried it three times on my non-Lud-P with no indication of 'LAUNCH MODE'. Not that I care a lot as there is so much instantaneous torque that I see no meaningful use for it.
@RossRAllen...the initial and replacement rivets were metal but not strong and almost all will fail in my opinion. The third try was a local Tesla solution with a broader head to hold better (temporarily). Whether or not the shaft is strong enough remains to be seen. I will post a picture of...
K-MTG....that of course is a rhetorical question and probably not answerable by anyone other than the design team for that element of the X. However, answers are often not 100% truthful [I can't handle the truth] OR helpful.
The air is simply going down into the seat pulled by the fan as...
If the skin feels air movement, and evaporation from said skin occurs, cooling is the result and resulting perception. Obviously if there is a cooling means such as a cooling coil, and the temperature of the supplied air under positive pressure is below that of surrounding ambient, that is felt...
7.9 Pascals = 0.0317 WC". That is why HVAC engineers use Pascals as PSI is meaningless as it is too high a range and WC" is appropriate for more robust pressure needs.
Today I finally have my MX back and time to set up a digital manometer which measures in Pascals down to tenths of Pascals. I tested all three fan settings on the larger portion of the drivers seat. I am attaching a PDF with pictures showing the three fan settings and the pressure differentials...

No...did not know. I carry quite a few car detail items such as power adapters, tire repair kit, rags, cleaning tools ... so will have to move those up to the nostril area of the car to utilize the more readily accessed trunk.
@Ross......I will be looking at it more closely tomorrow as there are some issues with the new seats. I will be meeting with a Tesla supplier of fasteners here who has a facility down the street. There is a serious "fastener" problem with the rivets on the backs of the third row seats. In my...
Yes, I got it again today but have learned to ignore it. Only once did it fail to start and I clicked the top of the FOB once and stepped on the brake and away we went.
Beware of such inexpensive pricing. Even the high volume shops in Seattle using non-certified applicators charge almost double that price for 'FULL'. Full might mean one thing to one shop and another thing to the second. Also, the fit is very important and can only be seen in and under...
