Oh, there were quite a few Model Xs scattered around the service center's lot. I didn't pay close attention but I'd guess at least ten, most of them pre-delivery. It's also possible that they have them around because they just had a Model X test drive event in Seattle recently.

Last night I checked again and my status was updated to "Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory." My estimated delivery date is now "March 9, 2016 - March 16, 2016". This time, however, I didn't (or haven't yet) received email from Tesla notifying me of the change in status.

Same here: Still in production but the site now shows a more narrow estimated delivery date. Mine is "March 10, 2016 - March 24, 2016" where it used to be "March - early April".

Unfortunately the "Delivery City" column for Q1 2016 is still broken. If you look compare the "Country" and "Delivery City" columns, many cars in the US are listed with non-US delivery cities, and vice versa. My US car now has "London-Gatwick" as the delivery city.

It looks like the wiki at the beginning of this thread hadn't been properly updated to reflect the new VIN decoder effective August 1, 2015, so I took the liberty of making those changes.

Alas that information is out of date. If you look later in the same thread (e.g. Decoding Tesla Model S VINs, post #333), there are people with 70s and 85s who have an E in position 7. The PDF I reference above is effective August 1, 2015.

I'm not sure where you are getting the idea that the 7th position in the VIN distinguishes between an 85 and 90 kWh battery. The 7th position is "E" for Fuel type = Electric. The 8th position can be 1-4 based on standard vs. performance and single motor vs. dual motor. See...

For what it's worth, my estimated delivery on the web site changed yesterday from "February - Early March" to "Late February - March".

The video works fine on both Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11. If you're using any version of IE older than 11, it's now officially unsupported (except on certain specific operating system versions), per Internet Explorer End of Support.
