Group Buy Poll for Mono-Block Forged Alloy Wheels by Titan 7

Not technically Titan7, but I’m virtually positive that Superspeed are made at the same factory. 19x9.5” +33 and 7mm spacer on rear.

    Model 3 Custom 18" X 8" Wheels

8" can be fine, but that 40 offset will be bad. Stock wheels are already sunken in, and stock +40 on a narrower wheel will be further inward. It will fit though. I understand if you don't want super aggressive, but I would do at least +30. To sit as flush as my 9.5" +33, you would do 8" +15...

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

I suppose so. I was completely disheartened to see no improvement. The difference shown was likely from slightly higher wind. The difference in north/south shows just how important wind speed is. 16mph wind is a 32mph difference north/south. Even a mild day will be 9mph. We all know the...

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

As an update to me mentioning efficiency with the spoiler, I was wrong. So good news: a redesign or extra work isn’t needed. Bad news: there doesn’t seem to be a way to keep efficiency as good as stock or better. 4% loss. Sealing the empty space did not improve airflow and improve efficiency. I...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Sounds like you are going custom. I would drop the offset by 5mm. I ran 18x9" +23/+15, and fitment was perfect. Sounds like you are going full custom offsets, so you should be able to. If you go to 255, you get right into the borderline of needing to do 255/30/20 (1% smaller than OEM vs 2.7%...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Finally had the car out after tints (xpel xr+), eibach springs, and some fat neuspeed rsf72. Looks good. I had no idea Neuspeed was still in business! I had their race springs on my Prelude back in ‘94.

Let’s see your amazing car. Probably a stock SR. BTW, it’s just a Model 3. Nothing all that grandiose. Sounds like you need knocked of your high horse just like the Tifosi. Just here to stir the pot a little.

Nope. It’s a Unicorn. Building if the Faurrari OK, it’s a Faurrari Teslarossa. Red with custom “Rolls Royce/Ferrari tan” leather w/ black stitching, and of course carbon fiber.

Sorry, I just noticed that I skipped wher you asked where to buy from. I bought from a sketchy sounding place online. Automotivestuff.com but their communication was good and shipping quick. You can also write SuperSpeed and buy direct. Both are out of Canada, so no taxes were paid saving a bit...

9.5" +33 and the rear has a 7mm spacer. They just started making a perfect 9.5" +25, but they only offer it in 5x112. So close to perfect. My 18's were actually slightly more aggressive wheel fitment, but the tires didn't have as square shoulder making them look less aggressive. This is pretty...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Yep, so consider my suggestion. 18” will run about $1100 shipped I believe. My 19” were $1330. For attractive, light, strong, flow formed wheels.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Are your goals light 18’s but wide? Part of this is because it’s what I went with, but look at the 18x9.5” flow formed wheels from SuperSpeed. Their prices are in Canadian, so actually cheaper than it shows in USD. RF03 is 18lbs. For tires, you may want to compromise with 255 or 265 For reduced...

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

keep in mind I'm no aerodynamics expert. Just trying to justify why there was such a change. It honestly baffles me how such a small thing could make that much difference, but I just saw a 12% increase going from 18" stock width to 19" w/ wider tires. These cars are finicky. The flat bottom is...

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

Thanks. That’s good to be aware of. I wish they would have just made it flat in the bottom. Downforce benefit is unknown, and it doesn’t seem to help efficiency. So kind Race Inspired Cosmetic Equipment.

    Michelin pilot Sport a/s 4 VS CrossClimate+

Funny enough, I just replaced CrossClimate+ with Pilot Sport A/S. Problem with giving a direct comparison is that I went from 235/45/18 to 265/35/19. The wheel/tire package is 9lbs heavier even though my wheel is only 1lb heavier. On my controlled run, The 235 wide CC+ ran 240wH/mi vs the 265 PS...

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

Somebody mentioned early how the spoiler needs 20” to look right. Maybe not 20, but I like my lip much better now that I put in 19”. Here it is with very similar design wheels but 18”. I always felt like it looked too much on the chin. Now with 19”, the car somehow looks more balanced.

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

I got this on last year year, and I did efficiency testing before and after installation. I have a very fixed test run for 30 miles that goes north/south to counter elevation/wind/etc. The CF lip added 4% energy consumption (lower range). This is testing at 65 and 70mph cruising speed. I've kept...

You mean if there are more or less wiring throughout the seat? I never noticed, and I don't believe the photos I have during the upholstery show it well. It was interesting to see how the factory airbag is a black tube that is placed into a lightweight white pocket that was sewn into the new seats.

Model Y wheels on Model 3?

255/45/19 Y tires are 6.4% taller than the 3's 235/40/19. Both vehicles have a final drive ratio of 9:1, so the tire size is giving the Y taller gearing which should help efficiency but hurt acceleration. City should be worse and highway improve. There have been other threads where people shout...

@f308gt4 OK. The butthurt of Ferrari owners is more than worth it. I’ll be just fine. A 308 is nowhere on my list of cars I want for my secondary play car, but it is for others. As said in the car business, there is a butt for every seat. Something for everybody.

I would have bought Titan 7, but they do need spacers IMO. Did you get the 18x8.5 +40? Stock wheel fitment leaves it sunken in. These are essentially 18x9 +23/+15. FastWheels FC04 18x9 +30 with 7mm and 15mm spacers.

Model S 19" Slipstream Wheels on Model 3 (with adapter)

I thought about it, and when I bought my spacers, they actually accidentally sent me 15/20mm adapters to 5x120. If they would have let me just keep them, I would have maybe done just what you're suggesting. In the end, Didn't seem worth the effort and cost.

Only like the first: 18x9 +28. That is what I referred to in my comment. It has already been tried and found that they don’t fit because the barrel hits the rear brake calipers. Maybe it fits the non-Performance brakes cars. No, I don’t want 10.5” wide wheels, and 10.5” +22 wouldn’t even fit. I...

You got the same size/offset as mine. Mine are also 235/45/18. It is within spec to fit on a 9” tire. There is a slight stretch, but it works fine. I’m happy. If I had my choice, I’d rather have an 8 or 8.5” wheel for the 235 all season tire. I may have written in here that the stock MXM4 and...

This has always been the understanding and likely the reason the group buy didn't initially offer 20's and maybe under T-Sportline's suggestion is why they went with the factory offset. While many in this style are similar, the T-S5 has a unique shape around the lug nuts as well as having a lip...

Guys, I tried plenty of times to see if they would do other offsets to no avail. I didn’t want to spend so much money and still want to use spacer front and rear.
