If u coat, u would need less car washing. If u are using automatic car washing then its really not great for the paint of your car (i.e.scratches and swirls etc...) But if u dont care about that then by all means, its ur car. I'm just saying there is reason car enthusiast choose PPF and coating.

Ur missing the point of paint protection film and ceramic coating. They are to protect the car for longevity purposes and coating makes the car easier to wash as less pollutants adhere to the car.

If u properly document what % is personal use vs business, there is no problem if IRS wants to poke around. The 179 rule has been around for years and is not even considered a "red flag" anymore. If someone gets audited, it wont be because they got an X under the 179 deduction

Getting EAP + FSD for $5k, and also getting HW3 upgrade for free was a no brainer for me. Given Tesla's track record, additional future discounts on software will happen again but not sure if it will as drastic as this last one as Elon went on record and said it was a mistake to do so.

The X and S are better cars than the 3. Don't get me wrong, I like my dad's 3 but when i when i go back to me X, its just a whole different level. Although, i think Tesla should give some more love to X and S owners soon as everything seems to be improving model 3's lately.

Yea agreed. For me, it was a no brainer to get EAP & FSD for $5k before price goes back up, which would be at $12k. It basically future proofs the car for a long time and way better resale value as i intend to keep my X for 5 yrs at least before i consider selling it.

Yea didnt get EAP & FSD upon purchase of my June 2018 X. But finally pulled the trigger and got both for just $5k. Just too good of discount to pass up vs the $12k if i got both at the full price.

With the latest software patch increasing range about 25% for all cars, i used to get max 240mi at 100% but just supercharged recently at the model y event and i got 271mi at 100%. Huge added value

This exactly for me as well. The 75D was the perfect range for me at the price point. Probably wouldnt have pulled the trigger if I was forced to only get the 90D or 100D versions.

I have 6yr old boy/girl twins and the X is perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of storage and automatic doors are a big help. My kids know the rules around the FWD and we've never had a problem with them safety wise around our kids.

"Plumbing?" Haha that's BS. I saw them install it and it was simple. Just remove the inner plastic part and replace with the hepa filter. The service guy said to use the hepa filter just turn the a/c fan on to the max settings and everything goes through it

Sorry but yr is your X? If you have a newer X with the MCU upgrade, it is just as responsive as the 3. Also, having a second screen is so much better than the single screen on a 3. The xtra room, auto-opening/closing doors, etc... to me just make the X a more luxurious car than the 3. I find...

I have unlimited supercharging and at first I never thought it was a big deal and that I would barely use it but now I'm a bit addicted to it and try to "fill up" at least once a week. Free juice is wonderful haha

The auto opening/closing doors on the X is a game changer for me. It's just an awesome high luxury feature the other cars dont have. I love the S and 3 but everytime my FWD opens, I remember why the X is my favorite
