So it looks like the PPF came off easily for @IslandRoadster but was very difficult for @Nvbob and @DeedWest . Perhaps PPF is easier to remove on cars that live in the garage while those that have spent more time outside are difficult to remove.

Base cars with few options have historically retained a higher percentage of their new value than loaded versions of the same cars. I don't believe Tesla will be any different, so a Model 3 SR will probably retain the highest percentage of its value compared to the more expensive Model 3s.

I don't think a counterbore adds complexity. It just becomes a new revision and it supersedes old revisions. Wheels with counterbored holes will fit all Model 3s.

I think it's very possible that the 18 Inch Aero Wheels available upon request go over Brembo brakes. Tesla just dropped pricing. It now costs only $7k to go from LR-AWD to P3D+. If we previously established that the + hardware is worth $5k, then the software is now worth only $2k. This seems in line with the P3D- costing only 1540 GBP more than the LR-AWD in UK. 1540 GBP is about $2k USD.
