Congratulations on your new S! I had similar issues with my 3 and now with my S - noisy AC, hearing the electric whine when accelerating (but this is more prominent during the winter for me). I'm curious, which tires came with your car?

I also purchased the rear cover from Tesmanian along with the liner for the frunk. My S did not come with the cargo floor shelf (will be delivered once they have it in stock) so I just cut some wood boards to length and put the Tesmanian cargo liner on top. Works just fine. I'll add that the...

Most of the LRs with 19 or 21s were delivered with summer tires up until the fall and even then many were still being delivered with summer tires - my car being no exception.

I have 19s and requested for all seasons before delivery.

My delivery date of Jan 13 (today) has been pushed out. I got a text that my S is still not on the delivery truck. Delivery is now tentatively scheduled for Jan 15.

Just a funny realization I had, but tomorrow I pick up my S which means that not one of my EDDs from the past 8 months included a window of my actual delivery date. Monkey at his best!

I received an email in the early morning. I checked the app/site last night and saw no VIN, so at least for me, if I would have constantly been refreshing my account page I may have known about the VIN maybe a few hours before receiving the email.

Yup, that's what I remember seeing as well. I'll take the new taillights over the tilted display. In my 3, the screen was less than an arm's length away and the viewing angle was never an issue. Add that the S has the more traditional binnacle behind the yoke makes the tilted screen kinda...

Confirms what my SA mentioned about transport delays.

Contacted me SA who said a VIN should pop up either late this week or early next week. They are experiencing transport delays so delivery might be pushed to after the new year. I think another reason may be my config. I don't see too many MSM configs getting VINs.

Only change was that my EDD of February got changed back to Jan 21 - Feb 18. Will see what happens today and contact the SA tomorrow if I don't get a VIN.

Checked my account today and saw the EDD changed. Previously it was Jan 21 - Feb 18. Today it says... February. Not February 1-18 or February 11-28. Just... February. 🙈

Very unlikely. These push backs have been happening all year.

Contact your SA. I contacted mine Sunday after my date got bumped from Dec to Jan-Feb. He told me that on his end my car should be built within the next few days. The dates we receive are reliant on cycles/logistics. I take this as a barometer for a geographic region and build configurations...

I emailed my SA at the Portland SC (who has been very helpful during this agonizing wait) about the recent push on my EDD. He replied with some good news which I would think bodes well for the rest of you who have received EDD push backs: Hope this puts some smiles back on your faces brothers...

Add to the insult, on Friday I got a text from Tesla that my vehicle will be here soon and they wanted to know if I had a trade in. I said no. Guess I'm being punished. Oh, the previous week I saw my Starlink order which had an EDD of Summer 2021 then Late 2021 now get pushed to late 2022...

Got a text from Tesla, but not exactly the text I was hoping: I was going to trade-in my M3 until I sold it myself a month ago and changed my order to show I was paying full cash. Still, this may be a sign that a VIN is coming soon??? 🤞

@Kyrne MS is a Plaid. EDDs for LRs and Plaids are like apples and oranges.

On the delivery tracking thread there is a person who just got a VIN in the bay area for his MSM/black/19". I'm hoping that this is the start of the MSM batch.

Excellent. I think this may be the new MSM batch coming off the line. If so there's going to be a lot of us putting our browser's refresh button to the test.

Who knows at this point. Tesla might only mark a certain number of MSMs going to the Portland SC and the rest sent up north to you. Wouldn't be surprised if you got your car and I was pushed to Feb-March. If I do get a VIN, you will know - believe me. 🍾

Insane! So why do you think you haven't gotten yours yet? I've been following this thread since day 1 and have noticed that Texas deliveries are better than most other regions. I would have thought you'd have gotten yours by now.

Still hard to believe an RN with 1142 has still not been delivered at this point. That's been an awfully long wait. Fingers crossed you get a VIN very soon! You deserve it!!!
