It’s all up to your personal situation but personally I carry much higher limits. This was a consideration I made and chose the higher cost associated with such high coverage for the additional peace of mind it offers to know I’m well protected in the event of the unthinkable

I don't know whether that is actually the case or not, but my guess would be that is only when the car is put into a deep sleep/low-power mode... just parking and walking away for a year (even on a mostly full charge) has too much vampire drain for that to be ok.

You can't transfer a reservation without Tesla's written consent. If you don't plan on getting the 3 best option is to cancel your reservation.
