Today is the last day I will be Tesla-less. Delivery is set for tomorrow afternoon! Delivery will be 8 days after I received the email from Tesla that my car entered production, for those of you tracking your own car's progress. That went quick!

If the hydraulics and springs could handle the weight, I would guess that anything is possible. (The pic is not my car...found it on the 'net)

My S was in "Final Assembly" yesterday, so it should ship pretty soon! My window shifted from June to early July, to June 16th - 30th. Seems to be tracking that way!

I was told by my DS that the P90D's come staggered now.

My P90DL (Silver, all options except rear seats) went into production this morning! VIN 144xxx. Expected in a couple of weeks, unless there are any unexpected production or transportation delays. They ship by truck to Colorado, and my wife's X took 20 days from start of production to delivery...

Erik, The wheels are the 22" black wheels as an option. We did go with the 6-seat option, and love the space it provides. 3 across the 2nd row (7 seat) would kill the daily usability of the X, in our opinion. In the 6-seat version with the 3rd row folded down, the back is very usable, but not...

I'm pretty sure the deposit is deducted from the final purchase price. My guess is that you have already paid it, so the amount financed will be the total, less the deposit. I hope this helps.

The pad really helps from preventing the car seat from indenting the leather too much. I would highly recommend one! We use the same pad listed above sold on Amazon.

The red looks amazing on the Tesla, especially with the dark wheels. I wish the Signature Red was an option nowadays!

Midnight Silver Metallic is dark grey with a hint of navy blue under bright light conditions. The color in person looks very similar to how it appears on Tesla's website. The Silver Metallic is a light colored silver.

NathanielHrnblwr, Great question! Have you driven both the X and S yet? Our local store has both now available, and that would probably be the best way to see how you feel about each.

My wife has a Model X on order and is obsessed with the whole process, production status, etc. I have never seen her so excited about a car! My suggestion would be to just enjoy feeling like that kid on Christmas as few things are as exciting as getting a new Tesla!
