If I buy a fob in a box marked Model 3 will it work with a model Y? Were there more than one version of Model 3 FOBs? Are all Model 3 FOBs blue tooth? Was there an earlier version that was not Bluetooth? (Sorry for multiple ways to ask this question I wasn’t sure how to ask it.)

Highway exits are in fractions of a mile. Even when they are a full mile away the tenths are very useful. Without tenths you don’t know if the OD just clicked a full mile or it clicked awhile back.

My Dec 2015 also pops the speakers on wake up. (MCU2 installed Nov 2022) I’ve brought it to, and demonstrated for, the service center. They said there will be a software update to correct it. According to the shop Tesla says that warranty is ONLY if Tesla replaces the part.

Apparently Tesla does not have any warranty on parts purchased by the Tesla trained/certified repair shop. Steering rack replaced. Tesla will not exchange it. They say there is no warranty.

Ayavner, I have the exact same problem. 2015 Model S. Dec 2015 build date. I bought it in Feb 2016. I know the USB ports worked in the ‘past’. I started using a 12v accy adapter for power to recharge my phone and very seldom used the USB.

There is a way to lock the car. A multiple step process. - Open drivers door. - Using the MCU click on ‘Lock’ - Get out and close driver door. (Optional - use MCU to fold mirrors.)

False Alarm Apparently snow removal equipment. No construction going on.

At the risk of raising false hope... I didn’t have time to stop and confirm but as I was driving by yesterday I think I saw some signs of construction.

:( 4:24 No one in sight. No power to the station I tried. I noticed the stations are not numbered yet (1A, 1B, etc). Maybe that will be the indication they are complete.

Anyone thinking about a ribbon cutting ceremony? What Restaurants are in the area? I see Figaro's is right in the parking lot there. I gave them a call. They seat 30 in the catering area and 70 in the pizzeria/restaurant area. Unfortunately they are not open on Sundays.

Verrrry excited about this site! Was soooo looking forward to the Philipsburg NJ site but that hasn't (maybe won't) happen. Phillipsburg would be nice as the WAWA there is 24/7 but this site is just as good for my PA <-> NJ travels. ! ! ! Thanks to all of you for the updates ! ! !

Just noticed the Superchargers are now the newer style. ( Didn’t need much so didn’t check charge rates.)

I still cannot listen to What You Missed in History Class. Constant Loading Error. No change with recent update at service center or OTA update two days ago. Called Tesla awhile back, they acknowledged the problem but had no timeline for a fix.

Went through last weekend. Not active yet. Half the SuCs are still covered. The meter is installed but reads 0 and I did not see the DC converters. Also the parking lot on the Dunkin Donuts side is paved but not on the other side.

I'm not going to be able to be in Rochester this weekend. When we do reschedule you don't have to go to Waterloo. You can just join in at Victor. Waterloo and a Tesla caravan to Victor is just one part of the fun.
