We are planning a trip to Silverwood theme park again this summer but the lack of supercharging from Portland metro area until Spokane is forcing us to use our other SUV. such a shame for Tesla only have 2 supercharging sites between the two location for the trip.

We lived in Oregon and went across the river to pick it up in Vancouver, WA. In hindsight, maybe this was the mistake but I guess we dont have a choice to drive around with expired trip permit as DMW wont sell us another 3rd trip permit. Oregon only have 20/21 days trip permit only.

When people invest their money and time waiting for a car 2+ years, they have a right to voice their reasoning and opinions why they are no longer interested .

The only advantage about not being invited or waiting for AWD is TESLA will have plenty of time to cleanup the early production defects/issues and have more parts (brake pads) available by the time I get the car.

Last I checked, Tesla didn’t make those brake pads? So why so hard to have extra brake pads. Is brake pads the production bottlenecks (hell) for Tesla?

If you can’t source extra brake pads for 10,000 cars, you will have much greater part availability concern once you reach 100k yet alone 500k. Tesla you have part issue. Might want to get your supply chain in check.

I'm pretty sure the Model 3 have the LED DRL. I would hope the Model 3 does have LED low beam at least. The cost is minimal now for Tesla to put that as a standard feature.

Ummm not everyone have $45k cash laying around in 2 years to outright buy a car. Even so, I rather invest in mutual fund/index/ETF or even large cap stock with good dividend rate more than 3% and let it compound investing over 6 years will return better than a loan for 30k with interest 3%.
